University of Georgia football coach Mark Richt knows a little about the fourth quarter. On Day 39 of the General Assembly, he wanted to remind lawmakers.
“I know at Georgia, when we get close to the end it is a grind and tough,” Richt said. “We talk about finishing the drill.”
Richt told members of the Senate to finish the drill on these last days. He also offered some hopeful news.
“My goal is to stay in this state until I am done breathing,” Richt said.
