Hear Richardson’s speech

WABE’s Denis O’Hayer, the ace local host of “All Things Considered” on 90.1 has put together a nice edit on Speaker Glenn Richardson’s farewell speech to the House Republican caucus on Thursday.

If you didn’t get to hear or see it live yesterday, it’s worth a listen here.

The words are different, but the tone is familiar. “My children love that dog … you won’t have Nixon to kick around any more … I am not a crook …”

They know, who saw the out-take caught by surprise of Nixon’s going on in a convincing flaming “gay” manner, heading for make-up before a debate appearance on TV; Richardson, too, has a perverse, none-too-closeted quality about him. He is no man and was likely traumatized in some fashion as a child…why he – and every other adulterer – committed adultery: to seem “manly” to his own deviant soul.

He was a perfect exemplar of the Gay Old Pervert party’s sectarian faction of 9/11-committing traitors Bush and Cheney, each, of his own right, a draft-dodging sexual pervert.

Wonder what Ralston’s found attractive about such fellow-travelers? Georgians deserve infinitely better. Why else would we rely on G-d Almighty for protection and guidance in the Preamble of Our Greatest of State’s Constitution?
