It was very interesting for me to read the article. Thanks for it. I like such themes and anything connected to this matter. I definitely want to read more on that blog soon. By the way, rather nice design this blog has, but how about changing it once in a few months?

I applaud Mrs. Richardson for having the courage to come out and tell the truth about Glenn Richardson. The covered-up divorce last year was just the beginning of the clues we had, but the fact that the divorce records were sealed up prevented the public from knowing the truth. Glenn Richardson is cntrolling..and intimidating. It is no wonder that Mrs. Richardson did not come out tell all at the time. As is readily apparent from the recent e-mails and text messages, she lived under constant threat of physical and psychological harm. If you talk to your local representtives (and I have) they will tell you that Glenn Richardson ran the House the same way: by intimidation. The atmosphere there since he took office has been nothing less than oppressive. Maybe now that he will be gone January 1, the House can have some normal working conditions and maybe, just maybe, the parties can work together for the benefit of the PEOPLE of Georgia.

Just one more comment: I am amazed at Mr. Richardson's temerity to suggest that "chasing skirts" is the normal pattern of business around the Capitol. I know it happens...in both parties, but it doesn't have to. The Repulicans need to lay off their claim to "family values." They have definitely demonstrated they don't have a corner on that market.

It's a disgrace for our state's elected officials it has taken this shameful story for Richardson's lack of leadership and egomaniacal behavior to finally be addressed. His Republican peers have aided and abetted his self-centered, power-hungry antics for years while neglecting the needs of the state, namely transportation and water issues. I can only hope this will be a wake-up call for all legislators to expose the hypocrisy, egoism, and manipulative politics within their ranks and actually work on the real issues they were elected to address. Or maybe they'll just herd the masses to again distract from that real work and mount a new attack on the evil, deviant gays that of course pose the real threat to the state of Georgia and the institution of marriage. Really?

Mrs. Richardson-I believe you demonstrated more discretion for longer than should be expected of anyone. I wish you and family well in dealing with the trauma of your ex-husband's actions.

It took a lot of courage for Ms. Richardson to speak out, and being a mom myself, I feel fairly certain that she did think about the possible effect(s) of her interview on her children BEFORE she gave it. IMHO, she exemplifies good morals because she was not looking out for herself but for the citizens of this state. Her internal feeling seemed to have been that she wasn't going to sit around and let her ex continue to fib to and mislead us. This indicates that she has a solid moral code by which she operates. Kudos, Ms. Richardson! Ever think about running for public office?

Richardson should be kicked out for sure. BUT all of the politicians that try to defend him and keep him in office should be kicked out in their next election. Georgia politicians are the very worst hypocrits there are and do not care about the working man for one second. Their priority has always been to take care of big business in Georgia; and then to be re-elected.

Mr. Speaker cannot have it both ways: Either he WAS seriously depressed and is in need of intensive help, OR he has it all handled and can continue to lead (so it was a ploy for attention from his wife). Either way, he should not be in leadership.

Susan a woman scorned? He was pleading to get back with her. Doesn't sound like she was scorned?

What happened to the little lobbyist? Why isn't she with GA Power? And why isn't Mr. Speaker still with her? Could it be she dumped him when she found he couldn't deliver?

Re: the porky-pig faces of these "godly" Republican/Conservative/family values men like Lush Limburgher, Newt Gingrich, and Glenn Richardson. How do you think they get the girls? Their witty reparte?
