EnWhat about Dekalb County? People there have lost homes, too, with severe water damage? We weren’t in a flood plain and don’t have insurance to cover our loss. We need help too.

People, do you see a trend. Washington couldn’t handle Cash for Clunkers. The can’t manage a regional flood, yet they are convinced they are the answer for healthcare. Where is all the outrage we saw after Katrina about the Federal Government! Who’s giving this administration a pass. HEY, B.O. no trip to GA, now helicopter ride over the effected area, not immediate disaster proclaimation. Sorry B.O. to bother your during your United Nations and G whatever summit. David, the way my colleague Pat Fox described it to me today, the Corps shut down the generators at Buford Dam so that it only released the water necessary to keep its systems operating.

I agree with ATLdog. Did the Army Corp continue to release water from Lanier into an already flooded Chatahooee? (they are required to release water by law, but common sense has to come in some where)
