“Don’t come to Georgia and put this on us,” Rogers said. “We don’t need more government mandates. In the United States of America, and particularly in Georgia, you ought to have the freedom to purchase health care if you like.”

First of all…this is by FAR the dumbest thing I’ve ever read in ALL my 23 years of living!!! Secondly, the reason we have health care reform is to help those individuals who don’t have health insurance either because their job offers it at a high expense with no real coverage or their job doesn’t offer it at all! These are people who do not qualify for peachcare & medicare!

So if their ISN’T health reform…what are they going to do?

Third…if there IS health reform…we won’t have to pay doctors $300 for each appointment…to sit in a waiting room for 2 hrs before a NURSE can see you…and I have GOOD private health insurance…and I’m fed up!!!
Lastly…so basically what Rodgers is saying is…”I became a GA State Sentor because I don’t like the government regulated mandates…and I’m here to block everything…even if it’s good or not…I plan to do nothing because the government should stay out our lives…” Yet this idiot is going to pass a law to block Health Reform? This is the idiot…I think i just got mad for real…therefore I will stop there!

The GOP are a bunch of idiots!!!! And if you agree with them….your a bigger idiot! They are protecting their pockets NOT the american people! Especially their own people in the state of GA! This saddens me! People wake up! Send this article out!

Fellow Americans, did you know: your U.S. Senators and members of congress receive Blue Cross Health Insurance for $157 per month, and the government, that is you, pays the additional $457 a month for their Blue Cross plan. That comes to $614 a month of your tax money goes to pay their health insurance (because you pay their salary that the $157 comes from each month. This doesn’t count the health insurance campaign funds and free family trips for your representtive and their family members. Some members recieve free tuition for their children to go to college. They keep these benefits when they leave government and many like former Congressman Dick Armey(Republican-Texas) get a pension and health care from the government and the make millions a year representing “Freedom Works” which is funded by the health care industry to influence you to protest your government about changes to make your halth care better.

Folks wake up, you are being royally screwed by your own Republicans, thet want you to stand in the rain to protest the government that our fathers died for. They lie ,cheat and steal and you are a fool. Why should you get government option helthcare, it would interfere with their good deal. Wake up Americans, you are fools.

Obviously the Georgia senate has not read the past 100 years of U. S. Supreme Court decisions concerning the 10th amendment, especially the last 30 years. The federal government wins in all the cases. That is one reason that black americans can go to the lunch counter, federal marshal law can be declared. Remember Katrina .

Where were these nimwits when Eisenhower and Kennedy federalized the national guard in souther states to protect citizen righs, explicity black americans.

These idiots of racism and hatred spend too much time listening to Beck,Hannity and the leader of the GOP-Rush Limbaugh. The GOP is absent from ideas or freedoms exercised under the constitution.

I like millions of Americans are sick and tired of these narrow minded racist politicans trying to destroy the America that our fathers fought so hard to establish.

The bottom line is that all of these fools are in the wallet of the health care insdustry. Why does America loose 5 x as many citizens from lack of health care as we loose in the wars.

The answer is idiots like them.
