To Braves#1

Obama is doing an excellent job of employing his diplomacy skills to get other countries in alliance with America. This country has always been in factions before Obama's time and shall be after as thisis the way of the world to be torn apart. Have you even heard of the recent successful meetings with Russian and China??

To Tony:

I think you may be more interested in seeing some state workers out of a job than that actual magnitude of the issue at hand. But for you information. Just recently the department was recognized for helping Georgians receive over 22 million in insurance benefits they were owed. These are funds that were legally due to policyholders. Funds they may not have received without the assistance of the department. Not the office you speak of that is under Purdue. The office of Oxendine has triumphed for Georgians.

Oxendine is very smart and hes been to many other coutries where they do things right and has seen first hand what lower taxes and balanced budgets can do for the ecomony of a state. I have dealt with him in the insurance industry and he knows his stuff. He also does not beat around the bush. Hes right to the point and one person that I dont think corruption would get ahold of. He wants the best for Georgia and he knows how to go about getting it.

If Oxendine wins the election, Georgia can look for corporations to relocate here because he will invite them by lowering taxes. While Obama tears apart the nation (and thats what hes doing) its up to the states to make sure that we remain stable and Oxendine has the knowledge and the experience to make Georgia very stable in these times. We need jobs here and we need the fair tax and those are the two things he will hit first. Believe me when I say there is not another running that I would even begine to consider voting for. Go look at his home page and read up about what he sees for the future of Georgia without all the lying and cheating that goes along with it.

Stephen Frazier - That would be a good argument if we were ranked a little higher in education (maybe in the top 95%?)

I have just one question for all you "No degree is a no go" types. Can you show me where any of the geniuses WITH the degrees have been so great? I would guess that the vast majority of politicians have been lawyers. Since the majority of educators are liberal semi socialists, doesn't it follow that these educated public servants were taught by left wingers?

I personally favor politicians who are down to Earth, with at least a passing familiarity with COMMON SENSE.

As for who cares for the "little guy", what good is all your education if you need some politician to "care"for you?

Atlanta drives the state? It may be in the drivers seat but your driving a container ship from the port. Without the ports this state would be lifeless. Just ask anyone trying to sell a home in Atlanta...

Responding to Roska's comment regarding John's 'Daddy'.

Mr. Oxendine is a kind, generous, intelligent man. No strings pulled, just a positive role model - which we need more of these days.

Wow, so a high school diploma from a state that ranks 2nd to last in education is enough to run for governor? Do you people not understand that we rank behind MISSISSIPPI and Post-Katrina LOUISIANA in education?!

Karen Handel is a joke. And yes, she is part of the good old boy network. She pulled a Shirley Franklin/Sarah Palin on you: she was promoted during her campaign as an outsider, but she had the backing and clout from old-school, insider good-old-boys. Why do you think they supported her? Because she's their mouthpiece.

SW, I agree with you one hundred percent. She was defiant when asked about extending poll hours for early voting which is what Florida did. You're right, she doesn't even have a clue as to how to handle an election, no way she gets my vote for governor.
