For your Halloween pleasure: Teacher zombies in Roswell

This video of Roswell High School teachers dancing to “Thriller” in flash mob fashion during a pep rally is fun. I showed it to my husband, and he assumed that the Zombie dancers were all students.  That either speaks to how old he is or how youthful and winsome Roswell teachers are. (I vote for the latter.)

The reader who shared this Oct, 28 video said, “The students loved it and it was the highlight of the pep rally.”

Enjoy. I am going back to cajoling my kids to share their Halloween Almond Joys. –Maureen Downey, for the AJC Get Schooled blog

Great! The principal allows the teachers a sense of fun and whimsy! Loved it!

Teachers didn’t look like these do when I was in high school. Most were matronly with hair in a little bun on the back of their heads. And they certainly couldn’t and wouldn’t do a dance at a pep rally.

Nice to see them all having a little fun! What a serious place school has become with a daily dose of doldrums. We neglect to capitalize on one of children’s greatest strengths- a sense of joy and adventure. Thank you Roswell HS!

I agree with Jack as my teachers didn’t look like that either. :) Great job by the Roswell High staff as this brought a big smile to my face.

Many teachers I had in high school could have passed for zombies…Just sayin’

I used to teach at RHS a few years ago, so I think this is great. I’m sure the faculty has changes quite a bit, but there were some great teachers on board who I know are still there.

Had I read this the day it was posted, I would have brought you all the Almond Joys we acquired on Halloween….no one in our home eats coconut.
