Check out views of candidates on charter schools

If you are interested in what the political candidates think about charter schools, the Georgia Charter Schools Association has done Q&As with several candidates.

In a nutshell, candidates voiced support of charters and of fairer funding.

Here is the link to the candidates for governor. (Some notables are missing. Only Thurbert Baker responded from the Democratic field.)

Here is the link to the candidates for school chief. (Be forewarned that only Democratic candidates Beth Farokhi and Joe Martin responded.)

I did not click on the links to hear what the candidates think about Charter schools. My reason is that all of the republican advertisements are racial. It is amazing to me that they even have the nerve to publicly advertise and think that racial comments are going to get them in office. And, if it does we all be it liberal or conservative better look out because that means morals and respect for life is null and void. It might even give one the food for thought that they would ???? MAMA to get over.

I think that Angela needs to look up the definition of ‘racist’. Dems show that some of them are that wayin a party that does not prosecute New Black Panthers carrying billy clubs and intiminating voters. Where did you get this idea from, Angela?

Truth be told it was the Bush administration that originally decided not to press criminal charges in the new Black Panther Party case.

Methinks the initial survey didn’t go to all candidates. Kira Willis has responded and given her views on everything else that’s been printed. I would be shocked if she received this from the GCSA and didn’t respond.

Kira Willis for State Superintendent! The people will speak! New blood needed!

Now more than ever in the history of this state the incoming Gov and State Superintendant of Edu will need to be tightly coupled with respect to their vision to transform public education in this state.

The fact those that responded had the courage to do so and not shy away from the questions should be commended. Take from the answers what you will in the light of their positions on other policies that impact how public education is implemented in GA.

@ Jean,

Please explain your comments. I never said anything about the Black Panthers neither, is there any reference to them at all. My response is solely based upon televison advertisement. I clearly stated that I did not pull up the link. And, to make it plain “The Repulicans are speaking of illegal citizens and Obama Care. That is what I mean by the racial aspect of it all.” The crap about Obama care for the RECORD is the McCain proposed plan prior to Obama being VOTED into office. But, because he is What White People Think is a Black Man in office it is now a problem. Illegal citizens have been in this country forever, now that Obama is in office it is NOW a MAJOR problem.

Please correct me if I am wrong if I am trying to win VOTES the last thing that I would put out there is any form of racial remarks.

Again, please explain to me about the Black Panthers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
