Seems some are missing the point here. Is is smart marketing to target college football fans who are consumers of beer products with Fan Cans? Duh - yeah! Another fine example of how the beer industry is so sincere with their "responsibility" campaigns for preventing underage and binge drinking - not! Face it - a conflict exists, business profits vs. public health and safety. Industry self-regulation is a joke...it's like putting the fox in charge of the hen house. There's more than beer for sale here.

Let's complain about this when high school color versions start showing up.

To use UGA as the poster child I'll speculate that more cans will be purchased by non-students, especially those that never attended UGA but have some weird fascination with the college than actual students.

Anyone in their 20's and 30's can also attest this is no threat because college students don't buy Bud, they buy Natural Ice, Keystone, Busch Light at best because they are cheap.

The Mrs. and I like that Mr. Ogafee. We were cracking up ovef his Bud "insights"! Hey guys, the Mrs. and I will be back in Clayco this weekend checking on our rental house in Rex Mill. Gonna try to take in a Braves game while we are up there. Having a Cabbagetown Reunion this weekend. Last time that the Mrs. and I were in Cabbagetown, it looked like Lettuceville with all of that "gentrification" that they're talking about. Hey Maureen, I was in the Roosevelt High School Class of 1967. We had the lowest SAT scores of any public high school in Atlanta. But, look at me now. The Mrs. and I are both retired and living high off the hog in a used condo down here in Ft. Liquordale. Shuffle-boarding (I hate it), college-football-watching (I loev it), snook-fishing-at-night-with-Abe-and-Eli, and sneak-peeking-at-coeds-on-the-Las-Olas-Blvd-Beach! Occasionally, I even have fun when I go to the Pompano Flea Market on Friday nights with the Mrs. What a life! Why are you trying to spoil the good life, Maureen? Low-to-average SAT scores and living the good life with my feet kicked up and watching Goergia kick the sh-t out of Oklahoma State on their home field. But, I ain't drinking no Bud. Just J. B. all the way!

BG, you right. Sewage juice...with dried cow dung dust sprinkled over the suds at the top. It bad. But, you lose all your friends, you still got your bud. Where Homer O'Dell, Buddy Colt? Mo, you scraping low? Bud topic? Turd think you give most students a Bud and tell them not take SAT.

Trademark infringement possibilities aside, this is about as ridiculous as anything I've heard in a while. College students are not going to be lured to drink because of a "fan can" any more than they will be lured to drink because of college-themed tumblers, coolers, can huggers, or any of the other infinite "adult beverage accessories" available in Publix, Kroger, fan stores and online retailers. Sheesh.

First, Budweiser must be the nastiest beer known to man! I don't particularly care for beer, but I know that stuff tastes like sewage juice! Eww! Okay, back to the topic. Of course it's geared toward college kids. Is is fair...yes. Is it foul...most definitely!
