Ralph Reed buying radio ads targeting Georgia races

Follow the latest tweets from Georgia’s campaign trail @ajcgaelections

Ralph Reed’s Faith and Freedom coalition is dipping for the first time into Georgia politics. Reed’s comeback organization has launched a $500,000 radio ad campaign targeting 18 House and Senate races.

In Georgia, the Faith and Freedom Coalition will join Republicans in the effort to unseat U.S. Reps. Jim Marshall, D-Macon, and Sanford Bishop, D-Albany. Listen to the anti-Marshall ad here – “It’s us versus them.” And the anti-Bishop ad here: “Bishop doesn’t get it.”

Reed is a proven liar and hypocrite. I would run away from anyone he supports.

“Reed is a proven liar and hypocrite.”

Bart, you know that being a liar and a hypocrite is a requirement for public office here in Georgia. Reed knows how to espouse faith and freedom which means that people will want to run TOWARDS him in droves.

Reed knows how to espouse plenty of things—and there’s plenty of idiots to believe his bull%&^.

People should never let Ralph Reed forget how he made money pimping for corrupt lobbyist Jack Abramoff. If he had any real morals, he’d be ashamed of himself, but he’s steadfastly claimed he did nothing wrong when he was consulting for Abramoff. What guts! Reed has managed to wrap himself up in the Bible and convince a lot of naive people he’s such a Godly and Christian man. He’s a liar, hypocrite and he’s corrupt.

Good lord! Not him again. It amazes me that any of the candidates would get within 100 yards of this snake oil salesman. It is noteworthy that Mike Keown in the second congressional district in Southwest Georgia was employing Jay Walker as his chief political strategist until Walker was indicted for bribery in Alabama. It’s a federal case involving casinos, politicians and all the usual suspects. Keown is feather weight who thumps the bible as well as his craw to the local evangelical neanderthals but kisses John Boehner’s behind when he shows up and demands the press be ousted from his campaign events. Birds of a feather!
