Find your polling place for early voting in Georgia

Follow the latest tweets from Georgia’s campaign trail @ajcgaelections

You’ve already heard about the large number of Georgians turning out to vote early as Nov. 2 nears.

Just in case you want to get in on the action before this Friday’s deadline but don’t know where to go, the secretary of state’s office has a tool that allows you to find early voting sites, which aren’t necessarily the same as your regular polling place. Just click here to start.

Thank you Chris. I found a place close to my office so I do not have to wait until next Tuesday.

Tiffany, if you visit our elections page – http://www.ajc.com/news/georgia-politics-elections/ – you’ll find a new tool midway down on the right side that allows you to plug in your address and receive the information you are seeking. Let me know if you’re still having problems.

Do I need to bring anything with for advanced voting? Can I go to any of the locations?

Murph, here is a link that will get you to the polling places in your county for advance voting – http://sos.ga.gov/elections/CountyContacts/AdvanceVotingDisplay.aspx

Also, you do need to have proper identification, just like you’ll need next Tuesday, and here is a link that explains what’s needed – http://www.sos.ga.gov/gaphotoid/
