Atlanta Unfiltered just reported that the state Ethics Commission now will have a quorum to hear accusations against GOP gubernatorial candidate John Oxendine with the addition of a Brunswick attorney to the panel.
House Speaker David Ralston named Hillary S. Stringfellow to the commission. She fills a vacant post on the panel. If the post had remained vacant and two sitting members had recused themselves from the Oxendine case, the panel would not have had a quorum to hear complaints.
