Conservative groups release endorsements, scorecards

A coalition of conservative grassroots groups on Monday released a limited slate of endorsements for the July 20 primaries and extensive voting scorecards for statewide, congressional and legislative races.

At a news conference at the state Capitol, the 9.12 Project endorsed candidates in a handful of races. Earning the group’s backing were:

Rep. Melvin Everson (R-Snellville) in the Republican primary for labor commissioner.

Gerry Purcell in the Republican primary for insurance commissioner.

Doug MacGinnitie in the Republican primary for secretary of state.

The group also endorsed the follow candidates for the General Assembly. All are Republicans: Christian Coomer for House District 14; Rep. Charlice Byrd for re-election to District 20; Calvin Rhodes for District 41; Buzz Brockway for District 101 and Brett Harrell for District 106; Rep. Barry Loudermilk for state Senate District 52; Joe Anderson for District 9; David Belle Isle for District 56 and Sen. Judson Hill for re-election to District 32.

“We have confidence that these candidates, if elected or re-elected, will not let down Georgia voters,” 9.12 Project chairwoman Tricia Pridemore said.

Pridemore said these are their first endorsements and they only endorsed candidates in races where they felt their supporters could make a difference.

The Georgia Tea Party also released a comprehensive voters guide that details candidates’ positions on issues important to the party. It can be found here.

Americans for Prosperity released scorecards for candidates as well. The scores were based on a series of votes in the General Assembly and Congress. It can be found here.

All but a few of the candidates’ names endorsed by Roman Catholic-raised Glenn Beck’s “9.12 Project” share GRTL’s endorsement, proving each is opposed to an incest or rape victim’s access to a medically sound, legal abortion.

Who but pedophile rapists wish to force the victims of rape and incest to bear?

Righteous Georgians, Baptist, Freemason, Presbyterian, Jew, Black and White. Shall we wise up and recognize who this sectarian faction of draft-dodgers, closet-queens, hypocrites and adulterers represents which has assassinated our leaders and taken us to false war.

Our posterity depends on it.

G-d is not mocked.

I suppose that when one mentions the mocking of God, one should refer to the Scriptures to see if one is interpreting it correctly. Everyone should check to see if I am right… rape and incest victims should resist the horrible crime, the criminal should be prosectued and the baby should live! Maybe that new life will invent the cure for cancer, invent some other great people saving device, or better yet tell the world that God’s way is love, peace and life! God is mocked when that chid is aborted. The community (that truely follows the Scriptures) should continually comfort and help that poor lady who was victimized. Sin is in every group of people throughout the world, don’t let the sin of the world cloud the beauty and truth of the Scriptures.
