A few notes, nothing of grave substance.
1. Tevin Washington will start. I’d guess Vad Lee will make his appearance in the third possession.
2. How Georgia Tech defends Giovani Bernard bears watching. Tech is 4-1 when it allows 150 rushing yards or fewer, 0-4 when it doesn’t. First-down rushes, in particular, will be important. (You could also point out that Tech is 4-1 playing teams whose offenses aren’t very good, like Presbyterian, Boston College, Maryland and Virginia.)
3. UNC opponents are 10-for-12 on field goals. Perhaps it’ll rub off.

Hayseed: I said i might go to a game if Vad starts, but wouldn’t pay to see TW. I might make an exception for the Duke game, considering Vad will play 95% of that game (aside from the token start for TW on senior day).
As for booing: just remember, the boos brought out Vad in the BYU game. As far as I’m concerned, the boos WORKED. CPJ heard the fanbase clamoring for Vad in person.
And now we are witnessing a coronation.

@ GT Joe……I have to agree somewhat with Hayseed……Most of us here have now conceded that you were right about Vad. Now it’s your turn to concede that you have been wrong not to support the team unconditionally like most of us do. GO TO THE DUKE GAME !!!!!

No I did not want the freshmen ruined by bringing him along too soon.
VT on the road is not a good place to start.
If u watched the BB game, an upperclassman, Holsey, stopped the Tulane comeback cold.
Why didn’t Gregory turn to a freshman?
Now that’s a little different but not much.
I do not think it helped Reggie any to play Uga his freshman year with the first string running back out.
I could be wrong but Reggie Ball played a lot better against everyone but Uga.
