A few notes for Georgia Tech-BYU
1. David Scully won’t play. Justin Moore will take field goals and extra points. Looks like maybe Chris Tanner will handle the kickoffs.
2. Tech is wearing white helmets, white jerseys, white pants. It’s the same combination worn for the Virginia Tech game.
3. At least by one metric, should Tech beat BYU, it’ll be its best win of the season. BYU is No. 30 in the Sagarin ratings. Boston College is No. 104, is No. 105 and Presbyterian is No. 241.
Clemson is No. 23, Virginia Tech is No. 51, Miami is No. 61, MTSU is No. 116.

Terrible play calling. 2 runs up the middle which we can’t do against good defenses. Playing for the field goal with the worst kicker in the country, pack your bags pj. This is the end of you and your inflated ego.

I fear another 4th quarter meltdown by the defense: they’re playing way too much in this half. Offense needs to keep Nelson & co. off the field and get points.

Don’t worry about a 4th quarter meltdown on defense. How about a second quarter meltdown on offense, not to mention kicking. Special team coach really earning his pay today.

This coaching staff has done terrible recruiting. There’s no one on this roster that looks special. And there sure isn’t someone who can wrap up.

Special teams and defense are a disaster. We have a QB who can’t pass. But the head coach has too big of an ego to fix anything. Too bad that DRad is more concerned with building empty buildings than hiring competent coaches to fill them. His volleyball coach has been even worse than CPJ.

I guess that would require Vad Lee, and CPJ is too married to TW to put Vad in.

Tech sucks and that’s the nicest thing I can say about this team. All 3 phases should be ashamed of themselves and all the coach’s need to be let go. I think I’ll start rooting for UGA, hoe about that Dan and Paul.

There is a reason that CPJ keeps the same coaches until they get caught cheating. No one else wants to hire them. The QB coach hasn’t done anything for 6 years but johnson loves him even thought he can’t teach tevin how to pass.

ANYONE who would allow Scully to attempt a Field Goal or let him back on that field for any reason is NUTS….FIRE WALKOSKY now, do not wait until the end of the season. GT was better off last yr without a special teams coach, who knew it could get worse

I’m no Al Groh apologist, but when ur defense is on the field as long as ours is because Tevin cannot convert 3rd and longs (CPJ playcallin notwithstanding), ANY defense will breakdown.
