One play. All we needed was one defensive stop, or a first down on that last drive to seal things up. Miami out coached us and out played us. We might be able to “fix” that for MTSU, but Clemson is going to eat our lunch if that the way we respond to talented teams.

Tevin just does not have that X factor. Nesbit was a warrior that would have (and frequently did) gotten those extra 2-3 yards needed to keep a drive alive. Tevin is not doing that, and we don’t have a B-back to do it either. If a D crashes the middle and strings out our pitches, we have nothing but 3 and outs and we have to keep our D rested for the 4th if we are going to have a chance.

Put Vad in now. We are going to lose the games we are going to lose with Tevin. At least we might be able to get a passing threat going.

CPJ is here for next few years. AD should be fired if he extends CPJ contract.

When GT can afford it (combination of empty seats and remaining time on CPJ contract) there are plenty of good coaches.

CPJ would make a great OC at a Div 2 school.

I would prefer new AD before hiring next coach as Drad has terible track record.

Have fun. As a 30 year season ticket holder I won’t be there! Done! Finished! Over it! Out!

I am concerned about the loss to U but I haven’t given up on the team. Dreadful tackling and no pass rush and not getting a couple of 1st downs in the 4th qtr did us in. Simple as that. Blame the coaches, blame the players whatever. I happen to think it goes to both. I do however believe that it’s time for Vad Lee as much I as I like TW as a QB and senior. TW is a “step” slow and just does not scare any opposing DC with his ability to pass the ball. He has become VERY predictable in the option offense that he more than likely going to try running the ball himself, which the opposing DC has keyed on. A passing game to go along with the option would create havoc for any DC. And, this should be the LAST year for CAG, his time has come to move on and retire. His 3 – 4 has been a failure no doubt about it.

Concerned, the dreadful tackling was a result of being completely gassed. Same thing happened to San Diego against the Falcons yesterday.

And I agree, it’s time to play Vad. CPJ, the future is now. We know what TW can do, and it doesn’t equate to wins against good teams.

For you regulars that are true fans, what do you think? Do you really want to keep watching TW out there or would yoiu at least have some interest if Vad is given the reigns. It’s obvious this O can score points, but it’s equally obvious that TW getting more touches than any other player is not a winning formula.

…at only $25 per ticket at face value you ought to be able to get his tickets for $5 each, not $12.50 each…

I’m certainly not ashamed to be a GT fan, but Al Groh’s time has come and gone. I was very supportive of him when he came. It’s time for a change. CPJ himself is doing fine, but he has to get a defensive coach and Al Groh is simply not getting the job done. While we are not allowed to call for firing at gojackets. com, we are here and I do.

Almost all of the criticism of the GT defense is warranted. But, who in their right mind could say anything bad about the offense. I would like for us to throw the ball a little more to soften up the defense, but it is very good as it is. We rank 13th in the nation in scoring (42/game) and 19th in total offense (503/game). We have also only played one cupcake opponent (PC). Most teams ranked ahead of us in these categories have all pushovers or close to it. Everyone calm down, 8 more games to go. Did any of us really expect to go 12-0 this season anyway.
