Former Georgia Tech star linebacker Reggie Wilkes was named Tuesday to the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame. Wilkes was a three-year starter at Tech 1975-77 alongside Tech great Lucius Sanford.
He was a third-round draft pick of the Philadelphia Eagles in 1978 and had a 12-year NFL career, including his last four with the Falcons. As of last year, Wilkes was working in Wayne, Pa., as a financial adviser whose clientele includes professional athletes, according to the Wall Street Journal.
