How about being 30 years younger and never getting a hangover if you drink a little too much?

I wonder if it will stream through the $49 Sony box that I haven’t hooked up yet to the big screen LCD TV. ESPN3 on the laptop wasn’t so good for the PC game.

I think that was out of pity. We were over at his house for Thanksgiving sharing a bottle of 18 year old- something unpronounceable. He asked me what I was having at home, and I said “Dewars.” He looked shocked and said, “My gosh, you have to put ice in that, Dad!”

Now that the weather has turned a bit cooler, the dog and I will try a hill trail that’s a lot of ups and downs. She would make a good sled dog, I think. Sometimes walking her is like flying a stunt kite.

Delbert—-what with my back & hip problems, that is why I haven’t gotten a dog….as much as I would like to have one. Plus a dog would likely bring back a squirrel or rabbit every time I let it out.

1 4 GT – Those 2 animals are why she’s like a kite sometimes. A couple of weeks back, we came upon a deer over in the woods on a trail down by the Chattahoochee. For the next 30 minutes, I was constantly fighting to pull her to the right.

@ 1 4 GT……yes, the North Ave entrance to the upper deck is a relatively easy ramp. The entrance at the other end is 4 flights of stairs.

@ 1 4 GT……however once up the ramp, it’s still 25 rows up to our seats, so that might still be quite a climb for Delbert, although I’m sure we could help.

Rabbits are daily critters in my grass & I would hate to even guess at the number of squirrels in my trees. I have seen a 10 or 12 point buck nibbling on my lawn once. Quite often see does & fawns. Ducks & geese in the lake. Armadillos, fox, coyotes, turtles, tortoises, and some pretty big critter tore a downspout off one corner of my house and chewed one end pretty bad.

Being telecast on ESPNU is like not being telecast at all.

Besides there will be plenty of seats at the game.

It starts at 3:00 pm because that is when I told the GTAA I could be there.

So?

Clemson-FSU is clearly a big game in the ACC. The rest of the schedule is terrible. Maryland will be whacked by West VA, and so will UVA by TCU. Games like Memphis-Duke, NC State-Citadel, Army-Wake Forest, etc. are pathetic matches that no one outside of those schools could care about.

www you prefer 7 for big games? You play in the All Cupcake Conference. You only have one big game a year and thats the weekend after Thanksgiving.

@ Turkeyneck, that may be the BIGGEST game of the year, but it is far from being the only big game. VT, Clemson, and usually Miami are big games
