“Hopefully Jax will take Hill so he can LEARN from Blackmon.

Only a real Tech fan would hope for Hill to be a WR on a team with Blaine Gabbert as its QB.

You clearly know nothing about the Oklahoma St offense. It’s as simplistic as it gets.

George Stein

How much trouble can he get into in St. Louis? Buffalo is the only city that could be better for him.

Oh heck it might bad, for Hill, it looks like the GMs are about to make their run on DLs & OLs and guys that can attack QBs.

Lots of LBs out there that had 2nd round grades that could push to start as Rooks.

Gollum must be dumb as a box of rocks. I didn’t know anyone who had to “game the system” to make it as a management major. Gaming the system was hopping on the M-train.

yellerjacketNchsSC

April 27th, 2012
7:38 pm

Ghost I’ll agree with you. Hill had to many dropped passes, especially the open ones. Hill has the size and speed. He really should have stayed one more year to develop his catching ability. But, it’s hard to sway a grown child away from 7 figures.

WnE

Instead of giving Cam a WR to stretch the field( Hill), they take an OG from Midwestern ST.

George Stein

April 27th, 2012

Blackmon is a good player, but let’s see him play in a league that requires defense.

I think he’s dropping because he’s a long strider. If a GM drafts for collegiate statistics, he’s asking to get fired.

__________

First of all he’s a tweener, many GMs aren’t sure to draft him as a OG or OT, next OGs don’t have the “value” as other positions like Tackle.

That’s not the case with a WR that is 6-4 215lbs. and runs a 4.36 forty, where 5 or 6 WRS that are smaller & slower go ahead of him.

Hill’s off the board to the Jets, the WORST possible place for him.

The NY media is going to eat him alive.

With GT having 3 WR’s gone in the first 2 rounds the last few years we can probably expect to recruit big physical receivers. Especially with Calvin Johnson being on the Madden cover. Trying to sell the fact that you as the WR will be doing more blocking than catching is the hardest thing for us though.
