Greetings-
I have to run out and may be out for a minute, but if you want to talk NFL draft, here’s your space.
My two-player mock: 1. Indianapolis Colts – Andrew Luck. 2. Washington Redskins – Robert Griffin III.

What those links I posted tell me is that CPJ didn’t convince Allen to STAY at Tech AFTER he had already decided to transfer to Tech, he convinced him to COME to Tech IF he decided to transfer. I believe that’s called RECRUITING.

he could go 2nd next year maybe first if he works hard and stays healthy.

the fact that pj coached players drop in the draft and drop way down than where they were projected and where their talent should have them picked. his point about caleb king being in the same exact spot on a practice squad, where dwyere was after he was drafted. like i said..pj players are a work in progress and he will cost tons of good , athletic players tons of cash.

Barnhart & Durham get 2 months off. 790 is changing the format for the next few months. Moring shoe gets an hour extra. 2 hours of B&D filled by Hons I think and the STEWS lose another hour. the Stews will be gon soon. come Aug. B&D will be back to cover college football.

This has only happened for one player. Jonathan Dwyer. And it was his own fault he fell so far.

gt bob..no not everyone…just the better players uga puts in the draft. brown has a very high ceiling and just by playing in mark rights offense and being coached by bobo and right, his chances of getting drafted in the 3rd or better are going to be pretty high. mark rights track record speaks for itself. his players get drafted pretty high. even higher when they stay for their sr year

Thomas was hurt by Nesbitt’s poor passing, not CPJ’s coaching. Hill suffered from TW’s poor passing, plus his occasional habit of dropping a pass that hit him in the numbers.

@ atlxman, FINALLY a good post and question by you. I don’t know what Dwyer’s problems are. It’s really very sad, but CPJ didn’t cause those problems; it’s something WITHIN Dwyer. Hopefully, he is finally learning how to deal with it on his own. I am sure the atmosphere at Tech (as it would be at any college) was good for him while he was there. I doubt he receives that kind of love and care in the NFL.

nesbitt poor passing was due to pj offenses…he didn’t pass that much..all he did was run the ball. pj offense ask his receivers to run fly routes and block..thats it.. and that cost thomas millions as he should have been drafted at least in the teens

Nesbitt’s poor passing was due to PJ’s offenses??? How the hell do you figure that. I saw Nesbitt throw a relatively short pass to a wide-open Thomas in the Orange Bowl when we actually still had a chance to come back, and the ball landed at Thomas’s feet. Nesbitt wasn’t blitzed or even really rushed and Thomas was WIDE OPEN. How can that be a result of CPJ’s offense.

My bank account is hurting……..Demaryius Thomas 7/31/2010: Signed a five-year, $12.155 million contract. The deal contains $9.35 million guaranteed, including a onetime bonus payment of $6.38 million. Another $3.345 million is available through incentives. 2012: $490,000, 2013: $575,000, 2014: $670,000, 2015: Free Agent

Where a player is drafted is as much dependent on the specific needs of the teams doing the drafting as on the player himself. Thomas was the first WR drafted in 2010. If I remember right only 3 WRs were drafted in the first round tonight. Does anybody really expect a team would draft a WR when what they really need is a D-lineman, or any other position? The fact that Hill didn’t go tonight is less a reflection on him than a reflection on the needs of the various teams. It DID hurt that he didn’t go to the 49’s since that was what had been rumored. But good grief, he’s still in good shape and in good company.

David Norman Greene (born June 22, 1982 in Snellville, Georgia) is a former American football quarterback of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the third round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He played college football at Georgia.
Greene has also been a member of the New England Patriots, Kansas City Chiefs and Indianapolis Colts. He retired following the 2008 season, having never played in a regular season game.

Nesbitt would NEVER have been an NFL QB, no matter whom he played for. He is playing Safety at Buffalo now because he is an ATHLETE, and he showed that time and time again at Tech. Some of that came naturally to him, but it was also DEVELOPED and IMPROVED because of CPJ’s coaching. To say any different is just stupid…..STUPID.
