Tech’s Hill invited to NFL draft

Former Georgia Tech wide receiver Stephen Hill is one of 26 prospects invited to the NFL draft at Radio City Music Hall in New York.

The number of players at the draft is a record for the event. For Hill, it is one more step of a remarkable progression since declaring for the draft Jan. 5. In a draft evaluation Hill requested prior to making his decision, the opinion of NFL executives and scouts was that he didn’t have the potential to be selected in the first three rounds.

However, Hill burst up draft boards with a standout performance at the NFL draft combine, including a 40-yard dash of 4.36 seconds. Hill’s invitation to New York is virtual confirmation that Hill will go in the first round or at least early in the second. Many mock drafts project Hill to be chosen by the San Francisco 49ers with the 30th pick.

The first round of the draft is Thursday, April 26.

There’s over 4 pages of BS on this blog (so far) of bantering with this moron WnE having noting to do with the topic of the blog (regarding a Tech playing being invited to the NFL draft). All of you people are as bad as he is.

Geez WnE, give it a rest. The main reason people talk poorly of you is the constant written assaults on Georgia Tech. Everyone knows you don’t like CPJ. You are asked to list a possible replacement. You say some coach from Baylor and that coach has lower ranked recruiting classes than CPJ. I’m not sure that the rankings mean much but I’m just a Toadie.
In an earlier post you said CPJ “stole” from Stephen Hill. Really?
In an earlier post you trashed Bey Bey. Why?
You want to be taken serious but everything you write is anti-Tech. I can see why dawgfan sticks up for you.
Oh, by the way…I believe Baylor just got NCAAed.
Here’s some fonder for you:
Adam Gotsis
Frances Kallon
Pat Gamble (that should be good)

And dawgfan Thanks, for nothing

My last message I said I’d check back after 3 years to see what kind of NFL prospects he had at that time.

Next season will be that 3rd year on the college level.

We’ll find out if CPJ can get him to the NFL, since he posted repeated on his old twitter account that he was a passing QB and not “an athlete”.

He was also very critical of GT ’s offense and hinted that CPJ was going to change the Offense for him………….we shall see.

While you guys are talking about twitter message he also said on his twitter page that CPJ introduced him to his personal friend and NFL HC Mike smith of the Falcons which is a clear violation of NCAA rules.

If you guys keep bringing up old tweets in public, those tweets might find their way to the NCAA investigators.

Coaches don’t get players to the NFL, WnE. If you gave the Western Carolina roster to Nick Saban, there still wouldn’t be an NFL player there. Players are responsible for their success or failure.

Adam Gotsis redshirt totally unproven has the size but never played against any competition
Frances Kallon redshirt seriously lacks experience , could be very good , McCollum has yet to develop anyone on the dline .Andys a good guy not sure about a good dline coach.
Pat Gamble (that should be good) The most promising of the 3.

Hey Ghost, I meant to say “fodder”. There was a guy from France that played at Georgia. Sardis? I thought he was a good player. You are right about the guys from the UK and Australia lacking experience playing American HS football. That could be a good thing or a bad thing. Really won’t know until they play. Gamble is the guy that signed early, so no one is talking about him. He might be on the field this year.
What’s up with the Bulldogs?

blt, I didn’t even notice the fonder part, Tardits was a good one, but I don’t remember him coming on until late in his sophomore season.I think Gamble is being highly overlooked he could contribute this year.I just question McCollums ability to develop them. I hope Andy Mc can do the job.
With the dawgs no suspensions or defections for lack of playing time so its a good week.As long as the injury bug doesn’t bite in the secondary I think all will be fine. Was able to see some practices this spring and they pass the eye test, my crystal ball broke years ago so I don’t make predictions about Georgia, but they have many of the pieces in place to have a good year.
