Tech’s Hill invited to NFL draft
Former Georgia Tech wide receiver Stephen Hill is one of 26 prospects invited to the NFL draft at Radio City Music Hall in New York.
The number of players at the draft is a record for the event. For Hill, it is one more step of a remarkable progression since declaring for the draft Jan. 5. In a draft evaluation Hill requested prior to making his decision, the opinion of NFL executives and scouts was that he didn’t have the potential to be selected in the first three rounds.
However, Hill burst up draft boards with a standout performance at the NFL draft combine, including a 40-yard dash of 4.36 seconds. Hill’s invitation to New York is virtual confirmation that Hill will go in the first round or at least early in the second. Many mock drafts project Hill to be chosen by the San Francisco 49ers with the 30th pick.
The first round of the draft is Thursday, April 26.

Hill had 26 catches over GT’s 12 game regular season, do you think that is a good season, do you think that CPJ used him correctly & efficiently?
13 of those catches were in 3 games:
W. Carolina
MTSU
UNC
That leaves 13 catches over 9 games or 1.44 catches per game, are you satisfied that CPJ got so little out of a great physical specimen for most of our season?
Meanwhile at UGA this is what they got out of their young WRs:
Malcolm Mitchell 45 catches for 4 tds and 15 ypc and he missed 3 or 4 games with a hamstring injury
Mike Bennett 32 catches for 5 tds and 10 ypcs
Chris Conley 16 catches for 2 tds and 18 ypc in one-half of a season after his RS was lifted.
Bennett was RS-Fr. while the other 2 were true-Fr.
So CPJ is an offensive genius and CMR is an “idiot” according to many GT fans yet CMR can get more out of T-Fr. & RS-Fr. WRs than our offensive genius can get out of a guy that is a Junior that has the same measurables as a Randy Moss, as a GT FB fan are you happy with use (or lack of use) of talent by CPJ?
Do you wanna talk GT FB or do you wanna bring up old twitter messages or talk about grammar that I use on a sports blog?

Since Towers and Carvel don’t mind censoring and banning users who post drivel about UGA, somebody should log into one of those blogs using WnE’s name and spout trash like the real WnE does here. Maybe he would get banned and then he wouldn’t be allowed to post on the Tech blogs anymore either. Although, if they use email addresses for the ban, I don’t guess that would work

Based on his reaction to my suggestion, I would assume that WnE knows that he could never get away with the kind of crap he posts on the Tech blogs if he did the same on the UGA blogs. Towers and Carvell obviously have more “power” than Ken does, since they DO ban people all the time when they say things that are obnoxious or mean-spirited towards UGA. He is given a free ride on Ken’s blogs, and he takes advantage of it.

I have BS, MS and PhD degrees from Tech and I had to take a total of two (2) English classes…
…grammar is not stressed at Tech!
I made plenty of extra dough proof-reading foreign national’s research manuscripts and dissertations though! $20/hr for fixing broken English is quite a coup in terms of grad school money.

I would never bother a recruit at all, even if he was considering UGA. If a recruit decides to go to UGA, I wish them the best and hope they make the most of it. Contacting recruits and badgering them with messages is beyond the pale.
