Georgia Tech guard Glen Rice, Jr. has been suspended indefinitely by coach Brian Gregory. Rice, who was also suspended for the first three games of the season, was not at practice Friday and will not travel with the team for its game Saturday against Virginia Tech.
Gregory did not give a reason for the suspension or offer further comment.
Rice leads the Yellow Jackets in scoring and rebounding. With Rice suspended and backup center Nate Hicks out with mononucleosis, Tech will play the Hokies with eight scholarship players, not counting two former walk-ons put on scholarship this season.

Can!’t believe so many peanut brains are on here making negative comments about Hewitt and Rice.Sounds racial! The embarrassing state of Georgia never fails to dissappoint.Probably have them both confused with Predsident Obama. For the record BG is a sad excuse for a million dollar coach. Stop speculating the reason for Rice’s suspension. The answer is simple-Headlines for BG. His own P.R. Machine. Who is next??Don’t write me any comments because I could care less what any of you think.
