COULD it Be?
Some other JOKES on the Blogs.

UGA can become a NATIONAL team if they would just pay Jeff Foxworthy & Larry the Cable guy to wear UGA stuff on stage and TV. They have made the REDNECK Lifestyle famous. UGA could be like Notre Dame with the Catholics if those comedians can keep selling UGA as the Worlds REDNECK National Champs.

I was working in SW Atlanta last Thursday. Some sick people were fighting dogs. The loser were thrown in a pit and lit on fire. I tried to save some of the Pit Bulls by hosing them down with water. I saw this Big Fat Ugly BullDAWG.I ran and got a 16 oz. PBR and drank it down. I felt compassion, so I just PI$$ED the processed PBR on him. If that put out the fire so be it.

I just read a Magazine can I get one of those UGA diplomas? I went Section 8 house shopping and I just signed my name. Can i get a UGA Housing Diploma too. I am a Double major.

Time to play spoiler, like 2008. uga entered that game 9-2, we entered 8-3 and we shocked them between the hedges. It’s payback time for 2009: only this time, it will be the dogs who are looking ahead.

P.S. Ken your interview had a terrible sound quality. And you deliver your prognosis with all the passion of a cancer diagnosis informant. Other than that, your coverage has been great.

5150 you are so proud of your story about peeing on half dead animals that were nearly burned to death that you used it twice. as always you are a class act. Not as tasteless as when you mocked the rape victims in Athens or the Georgia high school recruit that died but still pathetic.

ken are you really the guy who champions a person like 5150? I guess you are letting everyone know the type of guy you are too.

Good luck to both teams. Both teams have proved incredibly inconsistent throughout the season, so I think it all depends on which teams come to play. (Clemson) GT vs (Kentucky) UGA = GT Victory. (Miami) GT vs (Auburn) UGA = UGA Victory.

…if we could play AL there is no telling how bad we beat them since GA southern was able to run for over 300 yards on them – no telling how much CPJ and his play calls would garner…

Speaking of jokes...

…three guys were waiting their turn to be put to death in the electric chair – the first one, from Clemson, was strapped in and asked his last words, they were GO TIGERS. The switch was thrown and nothing happened – he was granted his release since he cheated death.

The second guy, from UGA, was strapped in; he, too, was granted last words – he said HOW BOUT THEM DAWGS – the switch was thrown and again nothing happened; he, too, was granted his freedom since he cheated death.

The 3rd guy, a Tech grad, was strapped in; just before the switch was thrown, he was likewise granted his last words; he said to the warden – “Warden, if you will just reverse those two wires I believe this thing will work”…

Yes, Tech guys really are smart…

Keys to Beating UGA

1. Stop thinking you have to do something special to beat them.

2. Stop thinking.

3. Just Play

4. UGA is talented so are you.

5. Stop making foolish mistakes week in and week out and telling the papers its correctable. Correct it.
6. Make a play when your number is called. You win when you make plays you lose when you don’t.

7. Honestly, they fear you more. More to lose is how they feel. So, give them what they fear.

8. Nobody understands the mindset of a champion. That is why there is only one every year.

9. Logic doesn’t factor in when you play a game that allows you to knock the sense out of somebody.

10. Be better than average and you will never play like every one else. The great ones don’t drop passes. Play with uncertainty, or make excuses why they weren’t mentally prepared to play in a big game or a not so big game. Because, a winner knows that they all are big games.

Bonus: The story of David and Goliath wasn’t about the underdog beating the favorite. It was about having confidence and faith enough to know its about heart or the fight in the person that determines the outcome of any challenge. Just step up your game and GOD will do the rest.

Morning boys.

Well I guess it is the week we are supposed to really hate each other, right?

I took a few days off the blogs to get away from one of my own UGA people……….

Hope y’all have a good Thanksgiving.

As far as the game, who knows?

Let’s call this:

The Schizo Bowl

Does either team really know how it will play?

I say 21-17 but I can’t decide which way.

Y’all have a good one.

“Just step up your game and GOD will do the rest.” Really – while I trust in God, I seriously doubt he plays a part in any football game…it is the players and coaches around you who will do the rest…and likewise for the other team…

—————————–
Well said and 100% accurate. As for the David and Goliath reference earlier, that story was about knowing that God is bigger than any giant in your life and that with Him, all things are possible. David called out his shot prior to taking it. I believe it’s known as the first recorded smack talk in history.

Tampa

i like our defense but this TO thing is SO different to prepare for. Requires discipline and with the short week because of the holiday, my fear is we won’t have a lot of reps.We have a definite advantage with our D line.

On offense for us, I look for us to be able to score but if our running game is limited, Tech’s defensive backs are capable of playing press coverage like against Clemson.

Part of me says shootout but I am leaning toward a lower scoring game like 21-17.

TampaDawg

Are you kiddling Lex? Watching the UK game made me think they were prepping for GT all week. Maybe not, and I am actually kinda joking but it sure seemed the team was looking ahead.

That being said, what’s up with this week? UGA, Auburn, UF, SC, GT all had patsy games and nearly pulled an Okie State. Never seen a week like this.

I am totally against this rematch crapola with bama and lsu.

Bama won’t win their own division in theor own conference and they get to play for the national title?

What a joke.

TampaDawg

November 21st, 2011

I can see both sides of the argument. One that says this: what is the intent of the national championship? Is it just to get two teams from different conferences against each other? Or is it to pit the two best teams in the country against each other? And mark my words, if Arkansas or UGA pulls the upset on LSU, then Bama will be in the title game. I have no issue with that. Are they better than the other one loss teams? Sure they are. At that point, would a one loss LSU be better than the others. Yeah, I think so. So it’s hard for me to argue that point.

No on the other end, if we had a playoff sure it would be a non debate and I, frankly, am tired of having it come up because the idiots that be in the NCAA along with conference commissioners, school presidents and AD’s can’t put all the garbage aside and do what’s best for the game. I know in other sports, you don’t always end up with the “two best teams” on paper, but if you fight through a playoff, it’s hard to argue that they might not be the two best teams AT THAT POINT IN THE SEASON.

DawginLex

November 21st, 2011

My beef is this:

Why have a conference championship game if it is meaningless?

Whoever wins the SEC title, we should play for the national title.

The loser of that game goes to the sugar Bowl

The winner plays the next highest rated conference champion.

That’s my opinion.

TampaDawg

I can go with that Lex. I mean, along those lines, look at it this way. Does the wild card team in baseball not get a shot at winning the world series just because they are essentially “last” of all the teams that made the playoffs? No, if they beat the teams necessary, they play for the title. I think we need to do away with rankings altogether in terms of their current meaning anyway. This would be a good start.

Defense has to play better than the last two games if Tech is going to win by 30. They should beat UGA no matter what though.
