DURHAM, N.C. – Hope this finds you well. I’ve finished the Cameron Indoor Stadium tour and have finished counting the dozens of fans at Wallace Wade Stadium and am ready for some ACC football.
A few things I’ll be watching:
1. How does Georgia Tech try to defend Duke quarterback Sean Renfree and the Killer V’s – wide receivers Donovan Varner (Duke’s all-time leading receiver) and Conner Vernon. Blitzing and playing man coverage or more zone and wait for Duke to make a mistake.
2. What does A-back Tony Zenon do with his snaps helping fill in for Orwin Smith, out with an undisclosed injury?
3. What kind of energy and intensity does Tech play with after getting knocked out of the ACC race? Can the Jackets put the game away early?
That’s about it. I’ll be checking in. Enjoy the game.

Ah, “The Truth” is back; where are all your other aliases today? You know, like “Tech Dad” and his bogus claim that his 8 year old son was harassed by Tech students. Ken outted you the other night, and you still have the nerve to post on here? You really are an idiot, aren’t you. And by the way, where was that great mutt team today? They had to struggle to beat a pathetic Kentucky team?

Super,
We beat UGA for the SEC championship….. If they play as they did against Clemson…. If not, it will be ugly…. I love it how these UGA fans seem to think Grantham has this offense figure out…. We will most likely have 300 rushing yards against the mutts… Win or Lose…

Sims had a pretty good game. Rushed for over five yards a carry and made a couple of really nice blocks.

True, I’m hoping the o-line will have matured a bit and will show it next year. It doesn’t help to have a wounded center, who is key to this offense.

I wish they would find a way to run Sims wide. Allen and Dwyer both did, and from what I saw of Sims last year at QB, when he hit the sideline, he was HELL to bring down

I know that when he was in high school he put up some hugh numbers. I think that he will prove to be a very good back and I know there are those who have been calling for his “demotion” but I think that he will only get better and better, as long as he can avoid injury.

@UGA = Yawn — saw your same comment on Yahoo, word for word. You must be passionate about it. So, who do you hire to replace CPJ? Realistic names only, please. Don’t just say fire the coach unless you’ve got a viable plan.
And despite whether you think it’s funny or not, 38 is greater than 31.

Enter your cAmazing video of a high school senior from Columbia TN who kicks the ball dead straight 75-80 yards in the air. He was successful on 54 of 54 attempts this season….100%. For some crazy reason, he wants to go to Georgia Tech.
Watch for yourself…it is unreal!

Ecing new UGA EAST CHAMP played in front of at least 80,000
November 19th, 2011
8:09 pm
Sanford Stadium filled up at the kick off and we were at least 80,000+ storng. I was there and it was fabulous. Our 15th string running bacvk had 100+ yds and our 6th string back, Mlacom looked strong baby. Get ready.
Now,the GT argument has been all year that “UGA played no one”, and so by implication GT HAS PLAYED SOMEONE. Really? Who morons??? Clemson will no longer be in the Top 15 after today, as the NC State Wolf Pack SLAUGHTERED them, proving that the ACC is now and has always been a JOKE.
GT will be pyhsically whupped. UGA line this year IS NOT the 09 or 2010 line and last year’s D line and Lbs whupped up on GT. Try your belly series up the middle with John Jenkins and Gathers and Lott. AAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Murray will TORCH GT. We laid won today and will be ready next week.
Duke vs GT was a thriller played in front of what? 10,000 or 11,000 fans???
SMALL BALL.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHHAHA,AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHHAHAHAHAHA
CPJ is on THE HOT SEAT
November 19th, 2011
8:16 pm
With CPJ’s 3rd STRAIGHT LOSS to CMR on Saturday, the GT A D Exec Comm. folks will convene in an emergency session and will in a close but fractured vote, KEEP CPJ for at least one more year, to at least give him a SENIOR CLASS ……………..and another chance, before he is fired. NO bowl wins and NO ACC titles in his era.
Lose this year to UGA ( SEC EAST CHAMPIONS) and soon to be SEC CHAMPIONS and in THE SUGAR BOWL OR COTTON BOWL OR CAPITOL ONE BOWL, then again next year to the 2012 SEC CHAMPION UGA DOGS, he will be fired.
CPJ is NOW on the HOT SEAT. Lose to UGA and it gets much hotter.
Although it will not affect recruiting, because GT does not recruit any really decent kids, it might affect their numbers, because even crummy athletes want stability in the coaching staff.
Yes, CPJ is on THE HOT SEAT.

I will say one thing, wouldn’t CMR like to have those 2 games against Boise and SC back? I think they win at least one if not both of those games if they played them again. I would be a little nervous about the next two games if I were a Dawg fan however…one TD against one of the worst teams in the country.
CPJ is WORSE than CMR and we all know that .....
November 19th, 2011
8:51 pm
We all know that “UGA and CMR are lousy and failures” and evil, meanies BUT they have defeated CPJ two years running and Saturday will be the third STRAIGHT YEAR OF that.
Now, we have business ……………”UGA has played no one” right??? ………..WHO HAS GT played? Clemson? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Sunday night Clemson will be ranked about # 17. End of story. ACC NOW HAS ONLY ONE TEAM in the top 10 and that is the way that it is ever year.
UGA has won 9 games or more now for 11 out of the last 13 years and in the last 13 years GT has was more than 9 ………………ONCE. AAAAAAAAAAHAHAHHAHAHA
GT has attended two major bowls ……………1967 and 2009 Orange in the last 54 years. TWO MAJOR BOWLS ARE IT JACKETS !!! Elvis Presley was crooning Hound Dog when GT last played in the Cotton or the Sugar, like in 1954 or 55. Sad.
UGA has been to 3 Sugar Bowls ( soon to be 4th) in the last 11 years, not to mention the two Capitol One Bowl games and Outback.
GT this year new players Alec Ogletree, Jarvis Jones, Mike Gilliard, Chris Robinson, Garrsion Smith, Abry Jones, DeAngelo Tyson and RAMBO and Gathers and BIG JOHN JENKINS and Derrick Lott will shove GT backwards in the middle and the pitch will be fumbled and recovered for QUICK 6 by UGA.
Do not assume that UGA’s D line is a replica of 09 and 2010 …………….no way.
UGA 49-20 GT

CPJ has had a mediocre and boring team. Recruiting drops each year. I don’t see him making it long.

8:57 pm
Look at the ACC. Maryland, Boston College, Duke and NC State and North Carolina and Clemson and Miami and FSU, VA Tech and GT and Wake and THE CADAVERS who STOMPED GT.
Only one of these ACC girls has won the MNC and that was Clemson in 1981. FSU won it pre ACC and of course Miami BUT NOW that they are in the ACC they too are just awful.
See? Who wants to play small ball in the ACC? THAT is why recruiting for the ACC is so lousy and why traditional powers FSU and Miami are failures now.
UGA has won 4 East titles in CMR’s 11 years. Name one other SEC coach that can boast of that % lately??? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm??
CMR OWNS GT and CPJ …………….WHO IS on the HOT SEAT NOW.

I know Zenon didn’t get many carries but when you watch the replay of TW’s td run, he faked the pitch to Tony and then fought through a tackle before Tony cut back inside and threw the block on the inside linebacker to spring TW to the outside. Real good effort and continuing the play.

OK, the defense needs much improvement…… as most always. I think this is the third game we had an opponent stopped on 3rd and long only to get a penalty. This crap loses games, and ruins seasons. The kickoff went into end zone only once, and we put the ball on the ground because of our own mistakes. If we play like that next weekend, Russ will piss all over Grant Field.
Wake up Jackets !!!
Good comment "power conference" cause ....
November 19th, 2011
9:41 pm
SEC has won like 7 or 8 of the last 9 or 10, 11 MNCs. Everyone knows that the SEC IS THE ELITE CONFERENCE. ELITE.
These same people NOW THAT ONLY CLEMSON has won the MNC and that was in 1982.
GT has bragged about their huge win vs Clemson and NC State STOPMED CLEMSON, who will all knew was vastyly over rated. Clemson is a joke.
Watch THE BIG BOWLS …………………ALL SEC squads will be INVITED and then watch the small ball bowls and they will be full of the likes of Clemson and GT and junk like that.
Besides, GT has only been to TWO MAJORS since the mid 1950s. They were stomped by SEC Florida in 1967 and again like 43? YEARS LATER, STOMPED BY SLOW GERMAN AMERICAN FARM BOYS IN THE ORANGE Bowl in 09.
See? GT and the ACC are small ball. BOWLS WILL TELL US SOON ENOUGH. Watch them and you too will know that the ACC is simply an irrelevant football league.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAH, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHHAHA
Clemson a huge GT win? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAH,AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHHA

DawgNole, WHY would any Tech fan ever say he wants to burn his diploma? If you read these blogs enough, you should know that I am very proud of my diplomas (note the plural there) from Tech. How can I admit to saying something that I NEVER said and NEVER would. If somebody else posted that under my name, then I never saw it, so I can’t even acknowledge that what you say is true. If you pull for Tech in every game except two, then what on earth would make you think that a true Tech fan would say something as ignorant as that. You want to see how easy it is to post under somebody else’s name? I will show you…….stay tuned………..

Hey DawgNole your beloved Noles just lost to Virginia. Supersize was on his way back to Augusta when the post you were referring to was done. He could not have posted this from a automobile I know this for a fact. You pull for UGA and the Noles you stated that to me already. You visit this blog only for your ego. You don’t when it comes to facts understand a lot do you? If you are on a Tech blog while your team is loosing I have no respect for your intelligence or your loyalty. Were you with CPJ when he was at Ga Southern? I was!! I doubt you know a lot about his background or talent. So with the outcome of tonight’s games It may be time that you shut your mouth and go to bed.
