I’ve got to hang this one of CPJ’s neglect of special teams. That and sticking with Tevin Washington. I haven’t seen him make the correct read on the triple option in 3 games.

Someone needs to confront CPJ about his views on team motivation. They’re asinine and outdated. There’s a reason motivation is one of the largest and most profitable industries in America, and that’s because it works. At a certain point, people have to realize that all his claims that he believes players should be “self-motivated” amount to a confession that he doesn’t know how to instill that motivation into his own players. I love the flexbone, and I appreciate what he’s done at GT so far, but I’m tired of watching the team repeatedly come out flat.
Please, PLEASE, beat U(sic)GA. Please. That’s all I want at this point.

We will only win one more game and that one (Duke) is 50/50. The weak front-end schedule made us look far better than we are. All it did was build false stats and give us unfounded hope.
It’s not bad coaching or scheme – it’s lack of real talent. CPJ needs to find some way to recruit and sign better players what we have is not going to get it done.

Nerd nation is finally back down to earth now. Nothing more humiliating than to be a near top 10 team and getting destroyed by two UNRANKED teams in back to back weekends.

Knew we were never #12 but did think we were at least a top 20-30 team. I didn’t think I was right in the Spring wanting Days but now I am not so sure. Tevin looked terrible again.

@Brent…The problem is, Tech isn’t coming out unmotivated. They’re coming out untalented even by ACC standards. No high end recruit in their right mind who has aspirations of playing in the NFL would come to Tech to play in that offense. That’s why you don’t see it at any other major university.

Forget the bozos from UGA my friends. We will get beat by 30 next week. The defense can only do so much. Four years into this, we still don’t have a consistant punter or kicker, nobody can seem to field a fair catch, or put a knee down when you’re 6 yards deep in the end zone, cover a kick off, and we get manhandled, MANHANDLED, by back ups on Miami’s defensive front 7. Miami is a very average team. So was VA. We are less than mediocre. This is poor coaching. And, we seem to have no QB who can play above I-AA.
