Tech picks up another football signee

Jimmie Kitchen, a former standout at Lithonia, signed a letter of intent with Georgia Tech. He is the team’s 23rd signee.
According to jacketsonline.com, Kitchen was going to be in Auburn’s 2009 class, but there were questions about his academic eligibility.
He then signed with Tennessee State, but the NCAA Clearinghouse had an issue with an online English class he took. He never enrolled.
He began working to improve his transcript and the Clearinghouse recently cleared him.
Tech assistant Joe Speed was recruiting some other players when a coach suggested he look at Kitchens, a 265-pound defensive end.
Kitchen visited Tech, was offered and signed.
He will add more depth to Tech’s defensive line. He is the first signee in the class who is a defensive lineman.

Constantly labeling UGA athletes as dumb and criticizing UGA for signing a few marginal players – then turn a blind eye and sing praise when GT signs a similar player. You Techies are pathetic.

UGA will also clean your clock yet again next year – as will most of the ACC.

When will you Techsters own up to the sorry state of affairs know as Tech Sports. The football team in shambles and falling. Basketball at the bottom. 2 Techsters arrested for DUI in the last week. Signing questionable players at best while pointing their little crooked fingers at others. Time to wake up and smell the stinch!
