Glad to see the bye week is later in the season and will probably be much needed after games at Miami then Clemson at home before playing VT in what will hopefully be a big Thursday night game. I know plenty of people are going to bash GT for the first games on the schedule, but I for one have no problem with what will be a lot of new players getting thier game speed down before heading into regular play.

tek is irrelevant as it is, their upcoming three win season will not be a surprise

… Clemson is the school with the most difficult schedule overall, although they do get most of their harder games at home…they will be good to go 4-8, and if that happens its goodby to Dabo…

This schedule appears to be much more favorable than last year’s… almost everyone had more days to prep for us than we for them… not the case this year.

Schedule lines up nicely to break in a new quarterback – b-back mesh and ensure the offense is rolling by the time Butch’s bad boys roll into town. Hopefully there will still be a lot on the line when the hokies come to dance under the lights. I’ve got a feeling this is going to be a 9+ win season. Counting down the days until the Spring Game. Go Jackets!

Starting the season 3-0 is an absolute must. Starting the season 3-0 in dominant fashion is important. I didn’t agree with what everyone was saying after we beat SCSU 41-10. Boy was I wrong. If we give up more than 20 points after three games, it’s a sign of trouble. I’m thinking 4-0 at NCSU and that is the first pivotal game of the year.

GED Burdell, unless you’re a USC(e), Auburn, or VT fan, you pretty much don’t have any room to point fingers.

I think a reasonable expectation would be to win 4 or 5 of the first 6, and and maybe 2 or 3 of the last six. 7 or 8 wins total. If things don’t work out that could easily change to 5 or 6 wins. If things click, 9 wins would be great.
Not sure what post GDBurdell is referring to. I guess reading comprehension is not a strong point at UGA, But I don’t assume that he actually went there, Then again, I don’t assume he actually graduated from high school.

@ACC: If you have any money and are a betting man, I’d like to meet you! Not? I’m not surprised. My Daddy always said: “Put your money where your mouth is.”

insane tek moron = GDBurdell = Idiot UGA fan that doesn’t remember that UGA went 6-7 too
Boise is going to beat UGA like a drum. USC(e) and Miss State will beat you in Athens, you’ll beat Tenn & Vandy, UF will beat you and you’ll lose two of the three between UK, AU, and GT.
6-6 with a terrible bowl game is what you’re looking at again

Aw shucks GDBurdell…I guess we’re going to go ahead and play the games anyway…just to see how it plays out! I thought your mutts looked REAL good against UCF! My favorite part was watching all the pup fans fleeing the stadium as the clock counted down to zero…I looked like the other side of the stadium bled to death. Perhaps, BOTH of our teams won’t suck so bad in the upcoming season…perhaps!
