Duke beat UVA and will shut down teck as well. The hundred or so fans will have a pretty empty stadium. HAHA the end of the PJ era

The season finale always is a good time for us here at Marvin’s. Those engineers are always buying up blueback herring, leeches, chicken livers, wax worms, nightcrawlers and blood baits for the annual GT alumni catfish tournament over at Moores. That paul and al really know how to get those fish boys. They don’t have to have any of that high tech stuff either. Shucks no. Both paul and al use cane poles with black cord and a little weight as a sinker to get that bait right where those big old flatheads are lurking. Those GT engineering grads really reach deep in their pockets for this event. One of them even called in advance and wanted us to hold him 2 containers of wax worms. That costs 9 dollars. Now you UGA tell me they ain’t done good with those engineering degrees.

i would say tech has a great chance at winning the next 3 games, i think if tw can get his timing on track with the tripple option he will be fine, he have a more accurate pass than nesbitt, but noone will be able to make up for his toughness but tw could be a little faster than nesbitt and may not have to take such a beating but the whole offense needs to execute even better now bc we cant ride nesbitt like we have all year anymore.. come one tech fans lets show up to the games and cheer for our team, lets go tech 150% effort from tech from now on , woooooooowoooooooooowwwwwoooooooooo

joeygt….

If you think your team is better without Nesbitt… you are insane.

Your ONLY break from here on out is that Jacory Harris will not start for Miami this week. Duke has beaten NAvy, who runs that Mickey Mouse offense better than Tech does, with Nesbitt. And when you ply UGA…. well, you guys just don’t beat UGA. Once in 10 years WITH a good quarterback happens, but not this year.

And IF you manage to win one of the last 3 games, there will be a LOT of eaten words about Shreveport that you guys muttered last year. Oh, I cannot wait!!!!

dawg house, you may be dreaming of how great shreveport was last year when your crappy team does not even make it to a bowl game.

Without Nesbitt, and Harris both teams will be suffering without their starting quarterbacks! Tevin is good but will never be a Nesbitt. I would love to see Sims get some snaps. I am not predicting the Miami game, but Duke we should take. I am selling my tickets for the Duke game because Tech should win.

Hey Dawg House,
I wouldn’t predict UGA taking the game from GT just yet! Your team has struggled this season as well.

i never said tw is better than nesbitt bc hes not i said he passes alot better and if he can get his timing down better with the tripple option we should still be fine if we execute, i love what nesbitt did for us, hes beens one of the best qb at tech, im just saying if coach pj opens up the to offense to pass a little more , it might open up the tripple option more.

for anyone to give their tickets away for this game is a shame. This game is not a gimme as Duke did a number on Va. But most of all, this is the last home game and all the seniors deserve to be honored especially Nesbitt who gave you a conference victory in 09. Nesbitt deserves a standing ovation and GT fans need to be on hand.

Nesbitt was one of the toughest players ever to play for Tech or anyone else, especially when you consider that he’s a QB. He got hit on almost every play but almost always bounced right back up. I think there were three plays this year when he was hit, hard, by a tackler and THE TACKLER was hurt. I agree with Jackette that #9 deserves a standing ovation. In fact, I think GT should retire the #9 jersey.

Who cares what time the Duke game is? We are 5-4 and in 4th place in our divison – next to the last place!!! We were 9-1 at this time last year. great progress.

Nesbitt was definitely incredibly tough and I don’t think anybody can argue that, but retiring his jersey is a stretch, as was the heisman campaign to start the year. He might not be NFL caliber, but he’s done everything that’s been asked of him and more, and at many times carried the whole team on his back. But I’d hope it takes more than an acc championship followed by a bowl loss to get your number retired. Here’s to Washington getting the practice in to make next season that much better!

I have supported Nesbitt from the beginning, and never gave on him. At the games when he messed up, or when Tech lost I used to hear so much trash about how he sucked and we needed to put in Shaw. When Shaw came in, he sucked and look he’s not even with the team. (THANK GOD, HE SUCKED) So, I didn’t need to come to a game just to honor him or the Jackets. I have been a season ticket holder (husband got me interested) and have gone to every home game, even when the games were awful. So, you might want to tell the other so-called GT fans to show up cause a lot of them haven’t this year!!!!
