The way Tech “fans” complain about their home schedule every other year is concrete proof that the ACC sucks.
Is it 4th down yet?? Time to throw it in the seats!!

Doug, I believe Duke opens up their football versus Elon. They’re in for a tough game but they can probably pull out the win here.

S.C. State was an 11 win team last year…. LA Lafayette? 6 wins. Almost as good as you guys last year. Who has the easy schedule?

I usually like to walk around downtown Athens (F@gville) and let one of my friends pick out the biggest tool and beat his arse. I usually like to pick out the ones with the frat boy curly hair, or the x-tra smedium pink polo shirt and tevas. Yeah, you know who I’m talking about, they’re everywhere down there.

Dawgfan24, I’m sure every team the mutts play is better than every team the Jackets play—-IN YOUR EYES !!!. Not exactly sure how you can rate La Lafayette better than SC State, but if you want to talk about FCS schools on the schedule, I might remind you that the mutts play Idaho State, and they had a far worse record than SC State last year.

I think UGAG is probably the only SEC school (maybe Bama also) not to have played any Thursday night games over the past few years, so don’t get so worked up about Tech and the ACC schools regularly playing them. It’s great national exposure. The only reason UGAG WON’T play them is because they know there’s no way to get all those rednecks in and out of Athens on a week night.

This has nothing to do with the SEC or UGA. Let’s talk ACC. Look at these early out-of-conference matchups…wow
UNC vs. LSU
GT @ Kansas
Miami @ Ohio State
Miami @ Pitt
VT vs. Boise State
UVA @ Southern Cal
FSU @ Oklahoma
Clemson @ Auburn
BC vs. Notre Dame
…and that’s just in September. Can’t wait.

Good lord ladies.
It’s pretty clear GTs schedule is much tougher than the leg humpers this year.
Top to bottom
Florida (13-1) v. VT (10-3) – closer than you think but UF should still be better despite some key personnel losses.
Auburn (8-5) v. Miami (9-4) – Miami, no contest
GT (11-3) v. uga (8-5) – Since all of you think uga is a tougher opponent than GT, this one isn’t worth debating
Arkansas (8-5) v. UNC (8-5) – UNC, hands down
USCe (7-6) v. Clemson (9-5) – Clemson, hands down
Kentucky (7-6) v. NC State (5-7) – Kentucky
Tennessee (7-6) v. Wake (5-7) – UT but this would be ugly
Miss St. (5-7) v. Kansas (5-7) – going to go with MSU on this one
Colorado (3-9) v. Duke (5-7) – hands down Cutcliffe coached dookies
Vanderbilt (2-10) v. Middle Tennessee St. (10-3) – hands down MTSU
La. Lafyette (6-6, Sun Belt) v. Virginia (3-9) – hands down Virginia
Idaho State (1-10, FCS) v. South Carolina State (10-2, FCS) – hands down SCSt.
8-4 in favor of GT’s schedule. It’s basically Florida + a lot of mediocrity that doesn’t favor uga’s schedule until the bottom of the barrel. Not a single team from the SEC east that you play aside from Florida was better than 7-6 last year. You play the three bottom teams in the SEC West. You play a pathetic FCS team, 3-9 Colorado, and a La. Lafyette team that is a joke compared with MTSU.

Tech schedule every other year is proof the ACC sucks? How about the fact that the most difficult home game UGA plays this year will be Tech…an ACC school. And don’t try to say Tenn or Ark will be better than Tech!
UGA Home Schedule:
Louisiana Layfayette
Arkansas
Tennessee
Vanderbilt
Idaho State
Georgia Tech

Nerds, what difference does it make whose on the schedule…UGA will beat tek again like last year and 9 of the last 10 years…
I know you love to change the subject becaue you lose so much to UGA. You can’t even beat us with your best team in 20 years. The A SHE SHE champ loses to an 8 and 5 SEC team. that says it all.

Dawgfan24 Idaho State is UGA’s FBS game and they were 1-10 last year. SCState was 10-2 and has the Walter Payton Award leading canidate. That is the Heisman for FBS schools. What does Idaho State bring to the table? Give it up dawgs. 6-6 La.-Laf, 3-9 Colorado, 1-10 (FBS)Idaho St, 11-3 Tech for a record of 21-28. Tech plays 10-2 (FBS)SC State, 5-7 Kansas, 10-3 Mid Tenn St, 8-5 UGA for a record of 32-17. Now bark dawg.
