Tech gets regional
Georgia Tech was one of 16 sites chosen to host a baseball regional in the NCAA tournament.
The Yellow Jackets (45-13) will find out the other three teams they will host on Monday.
Dates for the double-elimination regional are Friday-Monday.

Great to see someone in the state succeeded this year. We Dawg fans have nothing to do since our team finished 12th in the SEC. Pitching did us in time after time. Next year we ought to be decent as these players mature. Good Luck Tech.

Wow, I see the pups are out in force for this blog. No matter, why don’t we have some real civil discussion. To be honest, I was afraid the Jackets weren’t going to recieve regionals because of the crappy outing in the ACC Tourney. But, my fears have been availed. Time for the Jackets to bring home a CWS! GOOO JACKETS!!! STING’EM!!!

Just think, if I’m not mistaken, had we beaten Clemson, we would have played on Sunday. Oh well, we didn’t. Still, we look good — all will be well — see you this weekend. A few UGA fans posted respectful comments on this board — to them, thanks. Otherwise, lest you forget: 6-5, 25-6, 6-4.

Tech will win one game then out. All the opposing teams have to do is throw a left hander at them and they’re toast. Tech has too many left handed hitters. I’m a Tech grad and love Tech athletics but believe me Tech in post season baseball is a joke. Get to Omaha, that will never happen.

Pretty good year for the Jackets. I don’t see Tech making it past the Regional and if by some chance we do we won’t make it past the Super Regional. Tech Man hit the mail on the head. I always enjoy Tech baseball every season…….until the end of May.
