Georgia Tech’s T-day game will start at 11:30 a.m. at Bobby Dodd Stadium on Saturday. The game was originally supposed to begin at 12:30 p.m., but concerns about the weather prompted the change.
The fan festivities will start at 11 a.m. as originally scheduled.
There’s a 50-percent chance of rain at noon on Saturday, increasing to 60 percent by 2 p.m., according to the the website weather.com.
The T-day game is an intra-squad scrimmage traditionally held as the finale to the spring practice schedule.

I have mixed feelings about the going to SEC fantasy. It would be great for football no doubt. But basketball still means something at tech and to the fan base. And I would hate to lose the rivarlies we have there. I do like what D-Rad is doing with the scheduling of SEC opponents for football. Bama, and Ole Miss coming up in the next 6 yrs I think. If you can run the table one of the yrs with Bama on your slate you should have a chance at the title game. Would like to see D-Rad continue this trend and rotate games with Sec schools. Good exposure, Good chance to get a big win and keeps with the history of Tech and the SEC. I just dont think that the ACC with get to the point where it has 3 or so teams a yr. that are capable of winning it all but could see a team with a strong out of conf. sched. running the table and getting its shot.

I for one would love it. Tech will have basketball regardless. But the bottom line, Tradition begs for this. Tech needs the SEC bad. More fanbase, bigger attendance, better players. It’s that simple. Keep the Clemson game because that’s a big rival but Tech historically is SEC. Make it happen D-Rad.

Exactly goatD ….. All these doggie-dorks grasping at ANY straw they can to appease the inferiority they are feeling with the success of GT football since PJs arrival. So far, against what they all claim to be a gimmick, high school offense, their beloved dogs have lost a game when there QB and each had his CAREER best game, and HELD ON TO WIN a game in which their boys rushed for century-high 340 yards. They have this “confidence” that the dogs will rush for at least that many from here forward.
I call’em D-D-Fs ….. Delusional Dog Fans.

I really think we are on to something here. We could change the start time or any game, just send out an email blast to the 5000 fans that will show up for South Carolina State, Middle Tennesees, Duke, Maryland, et al. No reason to be rained on when noone is coming anyway. I am sure ESPN could be talked into Andy of Mayberry replays on Thursday night which would improve their ratings anyway.

Good point I.B.. At GT the worry is from the outside criminal element. At UGA the criminal element is on the inside. And they have so much respect for their sacred campus, they turn it into a trash dump when they come to town. . Seriously, the post-race infield at Talladega looks like the grounds of the Augusta National compared to Athens after a home game.

Like anyone is going to go anyway. What a bunch of losers. I bet they have maybe 1,000 there. UGA had 40,000. Of the 1,000 that go, I am sure half will be mugged on their way out. What a poor excuse for a “college.”

Pathetic. Changed for “weather?” Yeah right, nice try. Pushing it back won’t fill that high stadium up any more. What a joke and an embarrassment. I’ll be so happy for Atlanta when they get a real football program in Ga. State that they can actually be proud of for a change.

I have looked on CSS, ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPN U and every other channel on my cable TV. Where is the TDay game being broadcast? It surely rates TV coverage here in the ATL because some AJC writer thinks they should even be in SEC. Where is the love? What radio station is it on?

Question. Why hasn’t Dwyer been drafted yet? I guess the teams aren’t buying the Tech lie for his drug use. Either that, or they see him for what he is. A straight line runningback that can’t play in a real system.

Sean are you a moron or just really high? UGA is horrible at getting players in the draft? HA HA. Do yourself a favor and Google UGA’s draft history vs. you nerds. What an idiot. The downward spiral? One year going 8-5? When you nerds go 8-5 you call it a good year. We call it a bad year. UGA will be 10-2 before their bowl this year. Nerds? Maybe 7-5 with yet ANOTHER loss to UGA. You people suck. Way to support your team today at Nerd Day. A few hundred people there? HILARIOUS!

Maybe you Dwyer lovers and the other thugs out there will learn a lesson. I love watching these thugs leave early just to not get drafted until very late. All they care about is money. If they do get the money, they end up blowing it all and end up broke. Black people are BAD with money. They just care about gold teeth and having 10 cars.
