Yes, Doug is a DAWG! He has banned many tech fans from this site for very little cause. He does let some dawg fans get away with a lot of crap talking, but so be it. Dawg fans like to make personal attacks with no facts and that is all I will say on the subject.

I’ll be the first to admit that my column sig isn’t the best. Of course, when you don’t have a good side you work with what you’ve got.
As for who I have and haven’t banned, I’ve unfortunately had to ban a lot of folks for various things such as obscenities, trying to play both sides in the rivalry just to get folks riled up, etc.. I have no idea how many on either side, though if I had to guess it’s been mostly UGA folks. It’s done on a case-by-case basis. I also have no idea who the banned are, cuz most of you post anonymously.

Doug if if TECH ain’t good writing for you then why don’t you ask for a different Beat? I don’t know maybe they are all taken. Just do TCH Justice and post good Stories and Info as often as you can and we will be happy. UGA hate Tech people on their blogs, but there is a new UGA article to comment on everyday. I would like to Hear about some Facebook friends. T.J. Barns, Cooper Taylor coming back, Tarrant’s adjustment to his new position, and Kyle Jackson’s feel after the injury and the new 3-4. Will they let you talk to players like that? Right now the other TECH BLOG needs to bee all BEESBALL.

DOUG you cut off KIM Z”S PACKAGE for telling about the # of African American Students a UGA. That was the last post I have ever seen her post. SHe seemed to have some real facts behind her #’s on enrollment. I am just saying. Thanks for POSTING keep the info coming. Well “mwh6767″ you and I must have seen two totally different games last season. Even my Tech friends (yeah I gotta couple of them) admitted that UGA’s OL squashed your DL and our RBs ran through your D like it was toilet paper. Wreck is lucky the score wasn’t alot worse. With a better D this season….this game will be alot uglier…write it down.

DawgGoneTruth, no sane Tech fan would disagree that the mutts ran through the Jackets’ defense last year. But last year is gone, as is our former DC and his defensive schemes. UGAG is not the only team around fielding a new defense. But you’re right, the game this year will be a lot uglier, but it will be because Nesbitt and company will have your new DC so baffled he will wish he was back in the NFL, where everybody plays the same kind of offense. WRITE THAT DOWN, SUCKER !!!

The dawgs will be saying football, basketball, and baseball are not a major sport soon. We own this state. Always have and always will. It hurts so bad doesn’t it? Most people thought this was a football game or a basketball game in UGA’s case, 25 pts. is a lot for a dawg Basketball game. Our girls softball team could beat UGA’s baseball team.

How about 4 CWS appearances to 2? I knew which Tech grad won the Masters as well. Point is Tech fans argue about anything to try and look better than Georgia. What the heck …dont look now but GT just scored 2 more runs…UGA was NOT the first SEC team to win a college world series…..and GT did not play a three game series with Okla ST. in the world series…Tech went undefeated until the Championship game and lost to Okla St in that ONE game.

GT VET, I just checked, and you are correct, which of course you knew already….LOL Thanks for setting me straight. I’m glad they did go to the best of 3 final though. That or double-elimination are both preferable to a one-game final, especialliy in the days of double elimination, when the winner of the final game could win even with one loss over a team with no losses up to that point. Also, I think I remember somebody saying earlier that Tech had only been twice. Tech has been 3 times, according to what I found….unfortunately still not as many times as the mutts, but I guess that’s life,

Hey Face it Tech-
I would call a truly program that hasn’t been ranked lower than five all year. And you have to say that Tech is far more consistent in baseball than UGA in the last 20 years. Tech has had only 1 time that they have missed the tournament in those 20 years (not going to mention that they got ripped that year by the selection committee). UGA on the other had seems to have a losing record once every 4 years. And you better not tell LSU fans that Tech is the only major college to care about baseball. It is easy to say that you don’t care about a team/sport when they are having a bad year. Let’s be honest though are you truly a UGA basketball fan or do you bring that up because you know that they beat Tech this year (I wouldn’t call 6 points smoking someone either….19 runs in a baseball game…different story).

Also David Perno showed that he has no concept of how to sustain a baseball program when he put a pitcher in who was only 9 months removed from Tommy John surgery for the first time all year. So you burn his red shirt in a game that is already out of hand because you say on camera later that “I think he can help us down the stretch”….you are 11-22 for crying out loud what are you getting to help you with make sure that you get 15 wins on the year?
