We’re live at Georgia-Georgia Tech baseball
First, would like to say it’s glad to see that Chance Veazey is in Georgia’s dugout here at Russ Chandler Stadium. For those who don’t know, he was paralyzed from the waist down in a scooter accident on campus in October.
Tech’s baseball team raised money to help with medical expenses at a football game this season.
Second, it’s a beautiful night at the ballyard.
We’ve got two teams having much different seasons. The Yellow Jackets are 13-1 this season, while the Bulldogs are 8-8. Georgia’s projected infield has yet to start a game together. Subsequently, the starting pitching hasn’t been as strong.
The Yellow Jackets haven’t had many issues. The starting pitching has been strong and some questions marks coming into the season on offense are tagging the ball.
Now, onto the lineups.

Would be curious to get oyur take on this question. Football is considered No. 1 at most schools, with men’s basketball No. 2. Where does baseball fall? Is it No. 3? Or has women’s basketball surpassed it?

Beating Tech in football is an annual fall ritual. Now that we have moved to the 3-4 and Tech has lost all of Gaileys recruits It might be another 9 years before tech wins again.

The Dawg fans are now one and done fans. It’s no longer about the body of work. Sorry Athens, your were not in a BCS bowl game, your not in the NCAA tourney and when the b ball season ends your team will amount to nothing. Back in the day the only thing that counted to a Tech fan was beating UGA. We have bigger and more important things to accomplish than messing with a bunch of rednecks in Athens. Apparently Shane is clueless as to any sports other than football. It goes without saying that the ACC is heads and shoulders better than the sec in basketball (twice the NCAA bids = twice as good?). The difference between final fours over the last 40 years is laughable, and if you take away Kentucky its even worse.
In baseball, the ACC and SEC are generally at the top in terms of conferences. This year, the ACC has four teams in the top 10 while the SEC has 2. ACC has 6 teams in the top 15 to the SEC’s 2.
The only thing “cupcake” here is Shane’s brain.
