As we learned from the BIGGEST academic scandal in ACC history, Tech isn’t afraid to cheat. If they change grades for current atletes over a 6 year period, surely they fix test scores for incoming recruits. Atlanta has some of the worst schools in the entire nation, but yet Tech gets the majority of their football players from this city? Yeah right

Whaat a bunch of childish posts! Georgia fans arguing that tech has more Asian men than women. Who cares? It just means that Tech is a first choice destination for top students nationally. Like previous posters stated, bringing race into a football arguement is morally wrong. Stick to the facts. The facts are that UGA beat Tech and Tech is going to a BCS bowl. UGA is headed to a third tier bowl in Louisiana. UGA has plenty of talent, but had a mediocre year. Tech has much less talent and played above their heads for the past two years uner Johnson. I’m sure Tech would like to have a better record, just like most Georgia fans wish they had the success that florida and alabama have had ove the past 15 years. Maybe both schools will get their wishes some day. Until then, enjoy your bowl games.

OK UGA folks. You beat us, glad you have something to crow about. Congrats. I’m proud of my school, our teams and our academic excellence. We have a great football heritage, a great coach and a great future. For now, my concern is playing better defense so we can finish in the top 10. I’d like a very good season to turn into a great one. We are almost there. As for tickets, Tech says most of the alottment is gone and should sell most if not all. It will be a good crowd in Miami for both sides. l Hope you UGA folks win your bowl in Shreveport too. Good luck.

UF dominates UGA in every manner possible. UF is far more selective at only 39 percent acceptance rate for enrollment at UF than UGA at 55 %.

What is Most Incongruous about GA tek fans posting again about Florida are their posts about Paul Johnson as a name on the list to replace Urban Meyer at Florida.
Paul Johnson played 6 games against teams not even in a bowl game, and YET LOST MORE GAMES than Florida did playing only 4 teams who aren’t in a bowl game.
I mean how good is Paul Johnson, anyway ?
He recruits very poorly.
His offense has zero tight ends and at most 1 receiver on the whole entire roster.
A QB who in 35 games has only 13 TD passes to 11 interceptions and is the Number 115 Passing Offense in the NCAA this season, yet this is what they went to when they scrapped their high school offense and threw 4 plays in a row to lose to a 7-5 team playing in Shreveport, NE LA at a high school stadium (larger than Tech’s Grant Field Bobby Dodd Stadium.)
There are only 3 football players in all of America who have committed to come play on this high school offense of Paul Johnson.

He fired Jon Tenuta to hire the linebackers’ coach at So Miss to come be his Defensive Coordinator.
With 6 games against teams not even in a bowl game, Paul Johnson’s “defense” is Number 57 against the Run, 54 Total Defense and 58 Scoring Defense.
And, his recruits are IDIOTS, not suited for the purpose for which they are intended as “student” – athletes.
Florida lost 1 game against # 1 Alabama. GA tek with Paul Johnson lost to UGA for God’s sake who LOST TO 5 OTHER TEAMS including Kentucky AND lost to Miami of Florida who otherwise beat no one, like UGA.
Soft schedule GA tek played.
It is, after all, all Paul Johnson has EVER COMPETED AGAINST.
GA tek fans think Florida wants their head football coach.

Happy New Year Maggots… 30 to 24 will last the rest of the year. 8 of 9 and 60/39/5 will last forever.
The ACC has played two bowl games.. they have lost two bowl games. The Maggots are the chumpions of the worst conference in America..Two years in a row they have lost to SEC teams with 5 losses… pitiful. The Orange bowl has completely wasted their money. Just remember maggots… no matter what bowl game we play in we still beat you 30 to 24 at home with two weeks to prepare with the worst team we’ve had in 13 years.

I would be embarrassed as a fellow UGA fan after reading some of the stuff that yall are saying. Not only are you showing an incredible lack of class, but your reliance on name-calling and racial slurs gives all of the legitimate UGA fans out there a bad name. I guess most of you UGA fans are not among the 6000 fans in Shreveport otherwise you wouldn’t be spending your weekend on a Tech blog. You really are missing a special event. All the road kill BBQ you can eat, 1 gal of home made moon shine, 2 free tickets to the game (you can’t leave in the 3rd qtr or you have to pay for the tickets), and 2 free nights @ motel 6. Now that is a deal that none of you should miss. Leave your single wide at home and your gas expenses will be much cheaper.
