All I want for Christmas is for all of the Redneck, Sidewalk, Uneducated UGA fans (Reality,Losing Respect,Merry Christmas? Naaaaaa!, CHARLOTTE DAWG) to thoroughlyenjoy the digs in Shreveport. The double wide trailers in Louisiana are just as nice as the one you live in now and if the weather is warm you may even get to wear the wife beater t-shirts you are so fond of. I suspect you will fit in there since you look, walk, and talk like the assistant coach in the Waterboy. The question you must have though, is how will you be able to take off that darn ankle bracelet that lets your parole officer know when you leave the trailer.
(Oh, sorry, I was assuming you are ex-UGA football players who either end up in the League or play their post college ball for The Mean Machine)
For the the actual UGA grads and legacies, I truly hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I would think it happens in college football more than every blue moon. NOW PAY ATTENTION – it’s not the reason UGA won the game. UGA outplayed Tech, that’s why UGA won the game.

Who does Roberson think he is with his censorship, Joseph Goebells? Is it now politically incorrect to remind crybaby Georgia Tech fans that the Georgia Bulldogs whipped their butts on “historic” Grant Field inside Bobby Dodd Stadium?
Last year, the less than professional AJC sportwriters didn’t feel the need to censor out the score when Tech fans posted it over and over on here for 12 months.
It never ceases to amaze me how unprofessional and low the AJC sports staff will stoop!
Well everyone just remember that two middle of the pack SEC teams proved that the middle of the SEC is far superior than the best in the entire ACC! Georgia Tech is overrated and overranked! The 7-5 Georgia Bulldogs are still better than Georgia Tech with their inflated 11-2 record against patsy competition. The Dawgs just lined up and physically whipped Tech at the line of scrimmage. Thirty to Twenty-four!

Agreed Charlotte Dawg. They are the worst fans of any team on Georgia’s schedule. Florida and Tennessee fans are undoubtedly arrogant, but their teams can back it up. Moreover, SECOND fans in general know football and you can have reasonable discussions with them. Tech fans no absolutely dick about the game of football. Half the time you find yourself educating them about their own program. I guarantee you that 70% of current Tech “fans” couldn’t tell you who William Bell or Coleman Rudolph is without the assistance of Google. That’s the God’s honest truth. Tech fans are arrogance and ignorance combined. Its an unbearable combination.
Here is the biggest problem with Tech fans in a nutshell: They want so desperately for everyone to respect their school and athletic teams. There isn’t a group of fans more desperate for respect and recognition than Tech fans. But at the same time, they don’t want to deal with the heightened level of scrutiny that comes with being a high profile athletic program. They just want everyone to blow sunshine up their butt and tell them how great they are. The second something happens to suggest that they aren’t so great they go and run behind academics or some other lame excuse. They’ve been like this for the 20 years or so that I have been following sports in this state. They want credit for everything but take responsibility for nothing. Like I said, I think they are an embarassment to all of us that call Georgia home.

I have two degrees from the University of Georgia and am an avid football fan and donor. Been to most home and away games since 1997, so I put my money where my mouth is. Just because I am an avid fan does not mean I cannot make honest statements about our team performance.
As I said above, I hope we find a QB and a defense next year. Do you disagree?? Am I glad we beat Tech? Absolutely. But under no circumstances is 7-5 a good year for us, no matter who we have beaten.
Further, simply because I do not derive some sort of enjoyment and self validation by making idiotic comments on an anonymous blog does not make me less of a UGA fan. Unfortunately, there are a lot of fans like you out there.
Also, the reference was made on page 1 about the balance of power being back to normal (from a UGA fan), I did not make that one up.

When is the weed-eater game? Was it already played? Was or will it be televised? Just wondering, could really care less. All those games prior to New Years are just exibition games. Anyway hope you doggies enjoy Shreveport and your stay at Motel 6. They are now offering a 2 week trip to Italy for anyone willing to stay there, but you must attend the game. What is wrong little doggies? Can’t sell your tickets for the weede-eater bowl game.
The latest indication is the wince-inducing report in the Athens Banner-Herald that not only does UGA still have about 5,000 unsold tickets to the Independence Bowl, but some of the nearly 6,900 that have been sold so far have gone to Texas A&M fans. The paper reports that after the Aggies sold out their allotment of 12,000 tickets, the school’s athletics Web site encouraged A&M fans to buy tickets at Georgiadogs.com. “Let’s MAROON out the Georgia allotment,” is how they put it.

To: You Rarned the Razzing (Whatever that means) – I do enjoy tweaking dawgs on this blog because the 5,000 people in the company I founded provide me with that opportunity through their dliigent work. Who knows, we may even employ some dawgs. Don’t see how but stranger things have happened.
My life is fine. I live high, support my teams of choice, drink a little good bourbon, eat some good food, try not to strain myself toting money to the bank, and go to bed every night thanking God I didn’t go to school in Athens.

“a new low” I find it very sad. There is no respect by the UGA fans. I think they have an inferiority complex due to the academics at UGA. UGA is a very good school, but it cannot compete academically with GT. GT is in the top 5 public universities in the US. Also, their direspect may have something to do with most of their fans have not seen the inside of a classroom at UGA.

I decided to look up the recruiting for 2010, now that the schools have the commitments that they will have for signing day in a few weeks.
Georgia Tech has ZERO Top 100 commitments.
