Cumberland was NOT A FOOTBALL TEAM.
Cumberland beat Tech in BASEBALL.
Georgia Tech, known as the worst POOR SPORTS in the history of SPORTS, demanded that Cumberland come play Tech in football.
They did NOT HAVE A TEAM in football.
Cumberland PLAYED NO FOOTBALL GAMES.
Tech demanded a football game since CUMBERLAND BEAT TECH IN BASEBALL (Like UGA does EVERY YEAR FOREVER TOO.)
That was NOT A FOOTBALL GAME.
You cannot beat a baseball team in football and call that a WIN by your football team.
Tech fans know NOTHING ABOUT TECH HISTORY.

Both Georgia and Georgia Tech have 6 National Championships in 1-A Football, according to all the same polls who ranked Georgia Tech NATIONAL CHAMPIONS in football.
Only UGA has 1 NC in the Final AP Poll.
Georgia Tech does NOT.

I don’t care if it was a dog bowl, a toilet bowl, or a redneck mud bowl that we beat Nebraska in back in 1990. That game determined a national championship, in which GT won. So to me, it was a major bowl game. Just because it isn’t sponsored by The Orange Growers, Cit Bank, Tostitos or UG Sugar, that bowl did decide a national title. PERIOD. Can’t argue it…can’t take it back. WE WON and WERE NATIONAL CHAMPS.

BullDawg SURE can waste a lot of time! From what I’ve read, thus far, all I get is BLAH, BLAH, BLAH! He’s a jock sniffer that is GREAT at cut and paste but has NEVER played a down of football in his life. He lists all these crimes NEAR the Tech campus where the Tech students are VICTIMS, but not the perps…..HOW does this resemble a cut down of Tech?! Just remember – for the cost of one ticket to the OB, UGA fans get four tickets, four hot dogs and four cokes for their bowl game!!
Mark Fox likes that idea – he is thinking of adopting it for his basketball team this year. The only game they will sell out there is when Tech comes to play. Can’t wait to see what Illinois does to that team tomorrow night here in Gwinnett – there will probably be more Illini fans there than UGA fans!!!

Boy – talk about no news, this topic was a serious waste of time, especially given the fact that all it did was provide a place for a few UGA fans to try and gain some self esteem and remedy some of that deep insecurity.

The AJC really needs to come up with a way to ignore certain posters that links that option to IP address, not just user name. Anonymous IP addresses should show up a different color to denote the inability to block them.

in CPJ’s live call-in show tonight, CPJ said he didn’t come to GT just to win the ACC Championship but he wants to win the national championship as well. It was exciting to hear that and those on location were fired up as well!
Whoopee!! Only a Tech fan could get all fired up over something every coach in America says. Paul Johnson’s chances of winning a NC at Tech are about the same as one of us winning the Powerball Lottery. The ACC wil always be lined up behind the SEC, Big 12, Big 10, and Pac 10 when it comes NC game selection. The big show will do everything in it’s power to keep a team that can’t even fill a crackerbox stadium or sell out tickets to their biggest bowl in 45 years from ever having the opportunity to wreack economic havoc on the host city. The tragedy in all this is that you GT fans steadfastly refuse to do anything to change that situation by supporting your team.
