5 questions with a Clemson beat reporter

Larry Williams, who covers the Tigers for Rivals, was gracious enough to answer these five questions for me heading into the ACC championship game:

1. How is C.J. Spiller’s injury?  Did it affect him during the South Carolina game? Has he practiced this week?

His toe injury has consistently nagged him all season. The Oct. 10 open date did him some good, but he’s going to need several weeks of rest to resolve it. He’s been limited in practice all year, so I doubt he did a whole lot this week. He was more affected by a stomach bug in the South Carolina game. He said he was holding down vomit on the sidelines after his 88-yard kickoff return for a touchdown early. He definitely wasn’t himself. He also suffered a groin injury early in the game, but that appears to be fine.

2. Clemson’s defense seems to have given up quite a few more big plays the past few games, compared to the first few. Is there a common thread to the plays?

Virginia gashed the Tigers on one possession with Mikell Simpson running the Wildcat, and the Cavaliers also caught the Tigers off guard on another possession by running a ton of trick plays.

South Carolina ran some Wildcat as well while also flummoxing the Tigers with a steady dose of zone reads, quarterback powers and mid-line option runs. The Gamecocks also hit for a few big passing plays.

Clemson has had some trouble stopping the run this year. From my vantage point, offenses are taking advantage of the fact that the Tigers are playing a lot of nickel. The Tigers are smaller with the extra DB and thus easier to block.

The main problem, in my mind, is the stong-side LB position. They just don’t have a natural fit there, so they’re forced to play nickel. And when they go big and put DE/LB Kevin Alexander there, they’re vulnerable in pass coverage.

They’ve also had problems with their other linebackers attacking the wrong gaps and getting out of position.

3. How has Kyle Parker developed as a game-manager?

He’s come a long way. I was really impressed with the kid in that game against Georgia Tech, but he’s progressed a lot since that game. He has really improved his pocket presence and overall knowledge of the offense. He didn’t play all that well against South Carolina, but he didn’t have a whole lot of help from his offensive line. He was really good in the previous two games against Virginia and N.C. State.

South Carolina surprised Clemson by playing zone almost the whole game, and that’s usually been what gives Parker the most trouble. So you have to think Wommack will pick up on that and use a good bit of zone Saturday.

4. How’s the team been acting this week? Their loss to South Carolina  seemed to be more about bad luck and turnovers than anything else.

They did commit some turnovers and have some bad luck, but they were also dominated up front on both sides of the ball. When you give up 223 yards rushing and produce 48 on the ground, you aren’t going to win many games.

This game presents a completely different set of challenges, and I think the team realizes that. They were in a tough position last week playing a desperate team while knowing the biggest game in decades loomed a week later. I’d be surprised if they came out flat in Tampa.

5. Has there been a commonality in Clemson’s losses this season?

They’ve averaged 92 rushing yards a game in the losses, so that tends to stand out.

They’ve committed 12 turnovers in their eight wins and eight turnovers in their four losses, so protecting the ball has been a factor as well.

The Maryland and South Carolina losses were marked by an offense that really struggled. They scored a grand total of two touchdowns in those games, and they didn’t even have a snap in the red zone last week in Columbia.

Prediction and why?

I’m really struggling with this one, and my prediction is subject to change by the minute.

I’ll go with Tech 35-31 because I can’t envision PJ losing back-to-back games. He’ll have the offense rolling after the disjointed effort against UGA.

oh yes, the Tech game doesn’t matter to UGA fans. They have nothing better to do than to read about a team that is actually playing this weekend and post moronic comments.

On a real note, i find it interesting the beat writer for clempsun would pick Tech. Odd. Clemson is a lot like UGA – if they don’t beat themselves, they are a very good team. Let’s just hope we can force some mental errors.

Nevertheless, Tech wins this weekend in a close and nerve-racking game. Enjoy WATCHING all the football tomorrow, Pups. You might have beat Tech, but you lost to LSU, Tennessee, Florida, and KENTUCKY! How does the basement suit you?

Are UGA fans disappointed in a 7-5 season and possible going to Shreveport? Of course we are. The reason is because we’re used to being the ones having the 10 win seasons and playing in BCS bowls. Tech on the other hand is used to being the ones with the 7-5 seasons and Shreveport-esque bowls which makes them all the more happy about their 10 win season.

Bottom line is this – neither Tech NOR UGA should expect to have any 7-5 seasons over the next several years.

Now you’re trying to make comparisons if UGA played in the ACC. Frank, I need to understand that your pups don’t play in the ACC. So, we’ll never know if Tech was in the SEC what their record would be, and likewise, we will never know what UGA’s record would be in the ACC. You see, they are in different conferences. Your opinion isn’t based on any facts, just a very obviously biased attempt at trying to insult another school.

Frankly, you look rather foolish Frank as an SEC homer posting on an ACC blog. We’re glad that you feel like your time today is best used by posting on an ACC blog. What exactly does that do for you Frank? Does that make you feel better in some way? Perhaps you feel inadequate about posting on an SEC blog since your team is 3-5 in that conference. There are several differences between CPJ and CCG. One of those differences is perspective. I think Tech will be focused tomorrow and I don’t think any of the players will be thinking about UGA. I certainly don’t agree with classless posts from any school. I would agree that Saint Simons, Yellow Fuzz and Ramble On were simply flamers. Their sole intent is to insult and be confrontational. I think they do a great disservice to their team and their fellow fans. I stated this several times in the past months on these blogs and called SS out several times myself.

I suppose from your comment that you feel that Saint Simons, et al justifies your fellow Dawg fans behaving in a similar fashion. I can certainly understand the motivation, but these fans look just as unintelligent as Saint Simons. By associating themselves as Dawg fans they also hurt their own program. First of all, the information that you presented is about BCS games only. As such you have chosen to ignore the regular season games and the inter-conference records in the regular season. By looking at only BCS games you are excluding over 95% of all football games played. No wonder the statistics presented are so distorted.

Second of all, you present the statistics then immediately discount them by you choosing to say that the Mountain West numbers are invalid because “2 wins by the mountain west is not enough of a sample to be valid.” Which confirms my first point above.

So, Frank you have basically stated that the sample size of the comparison is insufficient to conclude that the statistics you have presented are valid. Which totally negates your original assertion. The old saying that you can make statistics say anything that you want to say comes to mind. You are trying to make a point with statistics that you later describe as being irrelevant because the sample size is too small. My refutation to your original assertion is to agree with you that the statistics you’ve presented are irrelevant because the sample size is too small and does not take into consideration the body of work during the regular season. You agree in your last post by your comment about the Mountain West.

I suppose you missed statistics in college Frank. You never did answer my question about what was your major in college. Did you not go to college or are you too embarassed to answer the question?

Only trailer-trash such as those posting above [Frank Wren, dawgfan, A She She blog, Does the body good, Beg to differ, The Other St. Simons, et al – most of whom are probably from one idiot, who never finished high school, using aliases] would be proud of dawg-thugs who can only win by injuring the other teams’ star players as they did to Nesbitt both in 2008 & 2009. This is consistent with the thug FSU mentality which Richt brings from Mickey Andrews making the dawgs one of the most penalized team in the nation. I see that another dawg-thug, Montez Robinson, was arrested, for the 2nd time. Why does that not surprise me?

4 National Champions. more than the 1 or 2 by the dawgs!

Actually UGA has 5 national titles 1 more than Georgia Tech.

National championships

Years in which the Bulldogs finished with a number-one ranking in at least 3 of the final national polls recognized by the College Football Hall of Fame and included in the official NCAA Football Record Book:[9][28]

* 1980 – The Bulldogs beat Notre Dame 17–10 in the Sugar Bowl to finish 12-0 and claim the National Championship. Notable contributors during the season included Herschel Walker, Buck Belue and Lindsay Scott (Georgia was listed first by AP, Berryman, FACT, FB News, FW, Helms, National Championship Foundation, NFF, Poling, Sporting News & UPI).

Other years in which the Bulldogs finished with a number-one ranking in at least one of the final national polls and included in the official NCAA Football Record Book:[9][28]

* 1927 – With a 9-1-0 record, the Bulldogs were called the “dream and wonder team” and were ranked No. 1 in the nation with one regular season game remaining, but were upset by Georgia Tech by a score of 12-0 at Grant Field in Atlanta, Georgia.[29] Nevertheless, at the end of the season, Georgia was ranked number 1 in two polls recognized by the NCAA.[30] The Bulldogs were also listed as number 1 in two other polls of the 1927 season, but most recognize Illinois as the 1927 National Champion.[31]
See also: 1927 Georgia Bulldogs football team

* 1942 – 11–1 Georgia was chosen as champion by at least half of the recognized polls. Georgia was led by All-Americans Frank Sinkwich and end George Poschner, along with a young back named Charley Trippi. The Bulldogs knocked off 9 consecutive opponents and ranked No. 1 in the nation. Georgia earned a Rose Bowl bid after it blanked Georgia Tech 34–0 in Athens to end the regular season. Georgia then edged UCLA 9-0 in the Rose Bowl

* 1946 Georgia went 11-0 and beat North Carolina 20-10 and was proclaimed national champions by half the national polls.

* 1968 Georgia was chosen by one national poll when they went 9-1-2 losing to Arkansas in the Sugar Bowl. Overtime was not allowed in the NCAA yet so Georgia tied with Tennessee and Houston.

You didn’t address the points I made, which isn’t surprising since they prove my point. Your original biased opinion is that the ACC wasn’t deserving of a BCS slot. Of course, none of the football pundits or experts agree with you, which is also not surprising. You might want to check out the latest Sagarin ratings (which are actually used in the BCS ratings): http://www.usatoday.com/sports/sagarin/fbc09.htm

I would agree that conference ratings that compute interconference games and strength of schedule are much more accurate than comparing common opponents. (At least we agree on something :)

However, to say that the ACC, which has the 3rd best conference rating in the nation, is somehow not deserving of a BCS bid is, well, uninformed and simply irresponsible posting. We all can understand why a Dawg fan (or any fan) would be biased, but say it’s your opinion and not try to present it as “facts” as you did in your earlier post. Just sayin’.

Calculus is a difficult subject and ANYONE can lose count when under stress. I suppose you have never lost count while counting something Frank? That being said, his mistake was egregious beyond compare and cost us an opportunity to extend the game. If you’re trying to say that Reggie couldn’t count to four, then you are exposing your inability to be objective or intelligent, or both. Since we’re dealing with voters it’s a game of perception, everyone needs for their conferences to do well. Why do you think a one loss GT team was never in any serious BCS title talks? Why do you think USC and Ohio St. NOW realize they can’t drop a single game during the season? Because the PERCEPTION is that they play in weak conferences. The ACC will for years be fighting this stigma and will have very difficult time shaking it off.

Who cares about conferences? Good one!!

The majority of UGA’s defensive problems came from moronic turnovers inside their own redzone by the offense. Since you can’t really fire an entire offense, Willie had to take the hit. But regardless of how you try and spin it, Tech’s most “dominate offense ever” still couldn’t handle our sorry D.

Paul Johnson does not coach his players to “chop block,” but rather to DOUBLE TEAM” which is perfectly legal. Many of the calls against Tech were bad or questionable calls [with the refs responding to Beemer’s sour grapes, phony charges] as replays indicated. On one occasion, the Tech center lost his balance, the defender moved away resulting in minimal unintentional contact below the waist. The defender was not even close to being injured, which is the point of the rule. Coach Johnson told him to keep his balance or be replaced. To call an offense ranked 2nd in rushing in the nation as “a gimmick” is beyond stupid, but what do you expect from a dumb dawg?

Tech fans have simply outdone themselves. Just when you think they cannot get any more pathetic, they take it to a whole new level. You idiots are not fooling anyone. We know that losing to Georgia absolutely destroys your souls. I saw your acne ridden faces immediately after the game. If one didn’t know any better, they would have thought that you were leaving a funeral. Now all of the sudden its no big deal? Do Tech fans have some committee that comes up with excuses and rationalzations for all of your losses? Do they distribute talking points for you to use in spinning losses? You idiots sound like robots saying the same thing over and over again. I can assure you that there isn’t a single Georgia fan that gives two craps about your little ACC game. Can one of you geniuses give me one reason why we should? The ratings are going to be HORRIBLE. Hardly anyone in the media will even be talking about this game, other than to point out what a massive disappointment the ACC is yet again.

I have never seen a more delusional group of idiots in my life than Tech fans. One year your players put the UGA score on rings. The next year you don’t care about the UGA score. Whatcha want to bet that ACCCG isn’t such a big deal if Tech loses? I can hear it now: “We won 10 games and the ACC Coastal. That’s all that matters.”

Tech fans are an embarrassing disgrace to all college football fans. Put that on some rings.

Bottom line of all this back and forth is that the ACC is a joke. Everyone knows it except the Techies on here who are in denial. The ACC is horrible. I wont post the numbers again but they speak for themselves and speak volumes.

Me personally I think you ought to actually win a BCS game once in awhile to keep getting an automatic shot at one. Again the bottom line is that UGA, the program you love to hate, has as many BCS wins (2) as the entire ACC does.

I just heard that UGA has petitioned to join the ACC next season so they can be a factor again. Looking up at Kentucky has taken a huge toll on the Dawg Nation. You should know that the AP is subject to regional bias since it kept the dawgs from playing for a national championship recently. Teams from the South have always suffered from this bias. I’m surprised you didn’t know that, but you are a dawg so you are excused.

The only real bias you can prove is from the coaches poll. You have some of the most absurd end of the year votes from coaches that all, across the board, prop up their conferences. You even have coaches admitting they don’t even fill out their own ballots, and any rational person would realize they obviously have zero time to watch other games, and at best only see highlights at night on the Big 10 Network, aka ESPN.

What have they done to the Athens water supply? I know they didn’t want to put flouride in the water so they must have put stupid in. It has been amply documented that Georgia Tech left the SEC in a disagreement about scholarships. They weren’t afraid of anyone, having competed very effectively against all the SEC teams including Georgia, Tennessee, Auburn and Alabama. Tech became an independent, which I personally feel was a mistake – and was glad to see corrected when they accepted invitation to join the ACC.

Hey, talking trash is part of the game. Being terminally stupid is a fact of life. Maybe when you grow up, you will learn something.

Tech fans,

Reading your posts and desperate attempts to deflect the raw pain and anguish you’re experiencing makes me laugh. Let’s get a couple of things straight. Number 1. Making fun of you on your own blogs doesn’t mean we respect or hold GT to any greater light now. You’re still our 4th best rival. The mocking is simply entertainment to let you know how much we enjoy knowing we ruined your dream season and just a reminder that your guaranteed “beatdown” never happened. Consider it betterment for the great good, that being, keeping the worst fan base in the nation in their proper place.

Number 2. I can’t speak for all Dawg fans, but I for one welcome Shreveport. As even the most biased of Tech fans would have to admit, UGA was their own worst enemy more times than not the past couple of seasons. What better message to send to the players to not shoot yourself in the foot than the worst location in the country for a bowl? I’m worried now we could possibly land the Chick-Fil-A which would almost be an reward. That, I, would not appreciate.

If Tech loses tomorrow that almost definitely puts us in Shreveport. So go Tigers!!!

Wow you uga fans are really obsessed with us. You are on every Tech blog posting and re-posting last week’s score and barking about the game. We get it. You all won. We lost. The ACC did look a lot weaker than the SEC last week.
Fact is we are playing in the conference championship for a BCS conference this weekend with a good chance to go to a BCS game. Those two opportunities trump anything uga has to look forward to. Those two things mean tons of money and national recognition for our program, while your’s is still left looking for answers with many fans calling for the firing of lord CMR. When this season goes down in the history books, “10-2 regular season, ACC champions, and Orange Bowl appearance” are going to be read at face value. Everybody will say GT had a great year as Paul Johnson took players recruited for a totally different system and created a 10-win top 10 team while uga had an ugly, undisciplined, trainwreck of a season and carried on a tradition of underachieving with many of the nation’s best recruits. Tech is the better team and sometimes the better team does not always win. But Tech will go down in history as the better team and will ultimately look at this season a success while uga will look at their’s as a horrible failure and setback.

What else can the pup fans do? They’re not going to blog about football players getting arrested. They don’t have much to say in the way of national championships…..OTHER than a couple of their opponents from the sec. Nor do they want to come up with any reasoning as to HOW they could be playing this game for ALL these years and STILL only have one! They COULD talk about getting rid of their defensive coaching staff….but, hardly worth bragging about! The pups won this game, but it is OBVIOUS that they have a legitimate concern regarding Tech and it’s future! As Tech fans, we ALL knew that our defense was going to be our weak link….In time, when the D gets caught up with our O, these mutts KNOW that there will be NOTHING to say! Let them hide behind the likes of UF and BAMA as the sec elite…..for the most part, many of my friends and family that are fans of the bulldawgs are good and reasonable people. Why would we care to talk about a kid getting arrested for drinking? When I was in college, every kid I knew drank, even underage, so that’s pretty desperate of you to latch on to that. National Championships? I’m sorry, I must have missed something, is Tech playing for the Natinal Title this year? Fact of the matter is, UGA won the last OUTRIGHT National Title in this state. No stealing titles from teams that played a winners schedule or trying to convince everyone since the “Flowery Brand Herald” declared us champs, let’s claim it. Notice how you refuse to talk about the UGA/GT series. I wonder why that is….chump?

The voice of truth and reality has returned. Petty is the new word to study class. Yes, the vast majority of GT fans search for petty excuses. You can make all the excuses you want but the results are in. UGA defeated GT. We defeated your highly ranked team in your own stadium. The vast majority of the excuses have little to no validity. Our best player did not play in the game. The lucky excuse is self-indulgent at best. I heard one delusional fan saying they would win 8 out of 10 games. I will win the lottery if I had the winning numbers too. The reality is that the results do not reveal that believe. Check out the last ten games and you will see that belief is just delusions of grandeur. Yes, that GT fan is full of bull feces. Then I read a GT fan attacking UGA recruiting. Why would GT care? That is just an inferiority complex in action. I could care less who GT signs. I don’t care if they are 1 stars or 5 stars because that is nothing more than recruiting propaganda. What was the Dwyer kid rated coming out of high school? How many yards did he get in the game? That argument does not hold water either. I am still amazed at the number of GT fans reading UGA blogs. That is sad. Then we hear the typical academic excuses. If your players are so vastly intellectually superior, you could devise a scheme to defeat the Dawgs. It didn’t happen. Do the math. The Dawgs dominated the game. Your defense was non-existent. Our very average running game dominated the game. This was a football game and not a chess match. It was revealed last Saturday that the SEC is vastly superior to the ACC. Your two best teams were defeated by average SEC teams. Yes, your conference championship game should be called the below average SEC championship. The results prove that the ACC is a very weak conference. With the national title coming to a SEC team again this year, why don’t we just save time and declare the national champ after the SEC title game. Ask Ohio State about the dominance of the SEC. At that point, we hear the pathetic wait until basketball season claim. Why not gymnastics, tennis, baseball, equestrian, swimming, and soccer? In typical GT fashion, they manipulate results to serve their petty justifications. Try winning back to back games and then we will debate the issues. At this time, you excuses have no meaning. 30 – 24 speaks for itself. In terms of the coaching deal, we defeat GT and fire some of the coaches. That tells you just how little defeating GT means to UGA. Defeating GT is just a given. We will bring in great coaches and continue the dominance. For the future, all our elite talent is extremely young. Your elite talent are upperclassmen. Give up now because it’s only going to get worse. Go DAWGS

You LOST for the 60th time to UGA 24-30 when your Saint Paul Johnson eschewed his high school offense and THREW the ball 4 times in a row to end the game, even though your “qb” has thrown a grand total of 12 td passes in 34 games (with 11 interceptions.)

Jackets will recover today from last week’s lucky upset. Since dog fans have no championship game to watch today, I guess they are hitting the blogs. Good idea, it will be like that year after year as they will never surpass FL, AL, LSU, and TN.

29 percent of the Georgia Tech Student Body are women.

29%.

Women were not allowed to take all classes at the Georgia Institute of Technology until 1968.

The 1st Georgia Tech Women’s dormitory was not until 1969.

Georgia Tech, according to the AJ-C only, is a Top National University.

However, in fact, Georgia Tech is the Number 35 Top National University, about what the top ACC school is ranked in the AP Poll and in the USA Today Coaches’ Poll and that is NOT GEORGIA TECH.

Number 35.

“We’re Number 35.”

No one claims to be Number 35 at nothing.

Crime continues to be the Number 1 problem on Campus.

This last weekend again, another DOZEN Georgia Tech students were victims of robbery inside their own living quarters.

When Tech students venture outside their home, they are attacked and have their laptop computers stolen from them on the streets of their own campus.

29% women at Georgia Tech is the MOST UNBALANCED STUDENT BODIES of ALL NATIONAL UNIVERSITIES.

Women do not feel SAFE at Georgia Tech, and never have been safe at Georgia Tech.

This is the fact.

71 percent of the Tech students are men.

College of Liberal Arts is the fastest growing Georgia Tech college, yet Tech football fans act as if this does not even exist at Georgia Tech. Sure it does. It is the only college at Georgia Tech that actually leads the way in growth, but even here, the women make up only 29 percent of the student body at Georgia Tech.

Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts ?

That what you want ?

Georgia Tech offers such a degree.

Georgia Tech students are heavily stressed and avail themselves of no social functions.

Stress is mostly from the crime on campus.

Stress also from the fact that Georgia Tech is now no longer as SELECTIVE in its ENROLLMENT as at UGA, for example. It is more likely that a student who applies to Georgia Tech will be accepted, than if he applies to The University of This Great State. And, the women are not about to go to Georgia Tech.

Never have.

Never will. It’s not safe and daddy would not let them go after he visits the slums of a city of 6 million, where the Tech campus is in fact located.

Tech should sell the land downtown and move to Gwinnett, as the AJ-C has recently done, with it now quicker for AJ-C reporters to get to UGA than to get to Georgia Tech.

PRINCETON REVIEW now reports that Georgia Tech students are the LEAST HAPPY STUDENTS ON ANY CAMPUS AT ANY NATIONAL UNIVERSITY IN THE ENTIRE NATION.

“GETTING OUT” is what Georgia Tech students use as the phrase when they no longer are on the crime-ridden non-female campus.

21 percent of the Georgia Tech student body are in the Greeks. Buy your friends.

CRIME

Minor crimes around Georgia Tech are commonplace, a reflection of the Institute’s densely populated urban surroundings. The most common crime reported over the last few years, by a large margin, is larceny. Between 2004 and 2006, there were only 32 violent crimes reported, most of them robberies. That the crime rate in Atlanta during the late 1980s and 1990s was the highest in the nation, is what has contributed so highly to the perception that Georgia Tech sits in the middle of the slums of one of the world’s worst crime-ridden areas. Yet, we are to send our children there, especially our girls. Yeah, right.

LARGELY IGNORED

Georgia Tech is largely ignored even in the city of Atlanta where it is located. Students on campus are surrounded by the city, but the city does little to assist the students, or even to protect them.

With 10 times as many graduates of The University of Georgia living in Atlanta than there are Georgia Institute of Technology graduates living in Atlanta, it seems as if everyone is against Georgia Tech, adding to the biggest stress of all college students being in fact on Georgia Tech students. The lone local paper, AJ-C, tries to assist with this when asked to by Georgia Tech administration chiefly during enrollment periods, by seeking to have folks say “Well, I live here in Atlanta, I might as well root for Georgia Tech and go to the Georgia Tech sports venues to support Tech’s teams.”

The only problem with that is that the student-athletes at Georgia Tech are nothing like the rest of the Tech students.

NOTHING LIKE THE REST OF THE TECH STUDENTS.

Tech student-athletes currently are ON PROBATION WITH THE NCAA in men’s basketball, with the NCAA LIMITING Georgia Tech to ONLY 11 scholarships currently because the Georgia Tech student-athletes in men’s basketball have the LOWEST ACADEMIC PROGRESS RATE of all colleges in America.

NOT WHAT YOU THINK OF WHEN YOU THINK OF GEORGIA TECH.

Tech is supposed to be this great National University. Number 35.

Instead, the APR of Georgia Tech’s FOOTBALL team, men’s basketball team and women’s basketball team, are ALL LOWER than the APR for the student-athletes at UGA. And, UGA is FAR MORE SELECTIVE in applications to UGA both as a student-athlete and as a REGULAR STUDENT than is Georgia Tech ANY LONGER.

COMMON SENSE

Common Sense is lacking in the curriculum of Georgia Tech according to its own students. Anyone reading the spins in retort to this article here by me, will see that common sense is something that does not register with Tech students.

Does it make common sense to go to the WebPages of UGA 10 times the size of your local alumni and brag how you are going to utterly destroy a team you have LOST to 60 times, and then return a week afterward and state that you do not feel that a 6-point LOSS is UGA destroying Tech ? That is so obvious that you Georgia Tech fans, said that you would destroy UGA, wait a week before you have the pair to even come back, and then offer up after a week to think about, that oh well, a 6-point loss is not destroying Tech, you tell UGA fans. It is not that you are that stupid to say that, you just lack the common sense that UGA students have to see right through it, that it was you who said you would destroy us, while our common sense fails to see how a 6-point LOSS is destroying us as not we said, but you.

NERDS

Part of the reason why college life is supposed to be the happiest time of your life, is that you are challenged to think by others not like yourself. You are off away from home. You are confronted with opportunities to both better yourself and challenge yourself and opportunities in social growth by being surrounded as I, by 1000 women at Brumby Hall and 1,000 women at Creswell while I studied day and night at Russell Hall with a 1,000 men. At Tech, you are afraid to even go outside for all the crime. And, you are so stressed by the crime and the Georgia Institute of Technology with NO WOMEN at this critical juncture in your life that is supposed to be your happiest time in your life, as with UGA students on our beautiful campus, you end up without social graces as demonstrated on these WebPages by your every post.

LOCK YOUR DOORS.

Tech students even at Fraternities, lock their doors and do not even venture into the common areas.

UGA students are not like this, at all. Yet, we study as much if not more than Tech students.

So, what in the hell are the Tech students doing ?

There sure ain’t no women in there with them behind the locked doors.

The dating scene is dismal at best. And, it is not a good place for women, the number 1 stressed students in the nation of all National Universities, vastly Asian men, Nerds locked in their rooms doing God Knows What in what should be the happiest days of their life, and worrying stressing about the CRIME.

FRATS AND GREEKS.

Even the brothers at the Fraternities are stay largely to themselves and no one really interacts with anyone else, even in the Frats. The doors are LOCKED in the Frat Houses as well.

GEEKS and NERDS.

Greek Geeks are Nerds too, and although they drink, they largely even do that by themselves, locked behind their LOCKED DOORS in the Frat House by themselves.

WHAT IS THE WORST FACTOR ABOUT GEORGIA TECH ?

The social life.

BuLLdawg, a few notes from US New and World Report 2009: Tech ranks 7th among the nations public universities. 5th among all engineering universities (public and private) and 12th in the entire world for engineering and computing. I have friends about to graduate with aerospace engineering and computer science degrees who have two or three jobs lined up each. Judging by the length of your poorly researched post and the time it took you too put as many coherent sentences together (you’re at about 50% by the way) I’d say you have no job, or one that is so easy you can spend half of your day writing inane comments on the AJC. The kind of job robots will be doing soon. Congrats.

The only reason that UGA fans had so much time to comment on this blog on saturday night was because they didn’t have any football to watch cause the SEC championship was over, and their B.S. SEC (Suck Enormous C*@#) conference failure UGA wasn’t playing.

Go JACKETS!

That’s great and all, but when less than 2% of all your athletes do not even major in engineering, it rings pretty hallow….

Isn’t it ironic, that now that the bulldogs are not among the upper echelons of the SEC, that they totally define their year in terms of the Tech game? How sad is that?
