Should be a fun game Saturday. All the Dawgs in Athens Tailgating and getting Drunk Watching the Tech Game hoping Duke will win. Then getting their drunk butts kicked by Clemson without a lake. UGA fans you gota love them. Scouting had Derrick Morgan as a mid fisrt round pick and the first DE taken in this years Draft. Hope we don’t have a bunch of Juniors deciding to turn pro after this year. I hope Diesel Dwyer stills wants to finish his 4 years too. This Whole team back mext year would be great.

Pi$$onaDawg , I think the whole team coming back from next year would be better than great… I think it would mean a National Championship. The offense is a juggernaut and the experience on defense would get it up to a respectable level. If we win out, which I think we will, we’ll have a very high preseason ranking so all we’ll need is a perfect season. The only way to improve on a 1 loss season is to go undefeated.

Out of all the possible juniors thinking about going pro, losing Derrick Morgan to the draft would be the biggest blow to the team. He constantly fights off double teams and is still somehow 2nd in the NCAA in sacks. He is the only pass rush and disruptive force we have on the d-line. He single handedly put us in position to beat fsu and wake with sacks and forced fumbles. Without him, our defense would be almost nonexistent. I would hate to see Dwyer, Thomas, or Burnett go pro next year, but the void they would be leaving at their respective positions isn’t close to the hole we would have on the d-line if Morgan decides to leave. We have enough depth at the B back, WR, and Rover to stay competitive next year without those guys. The d-line has no depth and no experience. We will be forced to play sophs, redshirt frosh, or true frosh at Morgan’s spot. I hope none of them leave, but it is tough to pass up first round money and be set for life. Let’s worry about the dookies for now.

Burdell: Good catch. Oghobaase is an All-ACC talent who would very much help them in their efforts to clog up the middle for our ground attack. He’ll be nearly as big a loss on the defensive side of the ball as Lewis would be on the offensive side.

Dear uga fans,
We feel your frustration. Oh, how the mighty have fallen. Please keep the comments coming as we love watching you come apart. Keep in mind that 5 or 6 wins is a real possibility for you this season. Next year looks like it might be worse. Tech has not had a season like you are having in quite a while.
In the future, there will be a huge drop in sales for uga car flags, uga t-shirts, huge magnetic “G”s and dirty georgia baseball caps. Yes, nasty red uga flags will be half mast in trailer parks all across the state.
We know that you have these dreams of the dawgs coming into Bobby Dodd and shuttin’ us down. I used to have the same dreams. Now they are a reality. You will lose this year because GT > uga.
