Georgia Tech vs. Virginia
I’m about 20 minutes outside of Charlottesville, riding with former esteemed colleague Dave Fairbank of the Newport News Daily Press.
We’ve passed the time talking about Chairman Groh, the fun of Paul Johnson, etc.
When I get to the press box, I’ll start posting some notes.

You are right about Dabo. Anyone that allows themselves to be called Dabo should not be taken seriously and therefore should not be coaching at a major university. However, I hope he can get his cats to win in OT.

Overall Breakdown
When you break it all down, the SEC leads the way with 137 projected starters for the 2008 NFL season. The ACC finished second with 121 projected starters.
The Big Ten finished third with 105 starters and the Big 12 was fourth with 72 projected starters.
The Pac-10 finished with 70 starters, the Big East has 33 starters and Conference USA and the Mountain West each have 22 starters.
The WAC has 21 projected starters and the Mid-American has 19 starters. The Independents have 13 projected starters and the Sun Belt has 12 starters.

Xmen Who has the most draft picks and player selected in the last 5 years. No players past the 2004 draft. Not players from the ACC or SEC drafted before 2004. I didn’t ask how many players are still in the league from the SEC or ACC. Learn to read and do your search again.

Weird, you Jackets had me pulling for Clemson, I usually pull for the gamechickens when it comes to South Carolina. Tech, grab your destiny and run, well you do run better than pass.
The UT-Bama game had the number two SEC defense going up against the number three. Number two won. My fantasy DC league is gold. I wonder if I should start betting games using it.
I still say Tech beats Vandy. Coach Willie had a 16 against Vandy’s 24. Tech scored a 15 against UVA. Tech beats Vandy, that one is done.

I concour 45, Tech has bragging rights til the game, hopefully not after. In my smackdown rules I say all is fair two weeks prior to the game just to keep both sides fired up.
Needless to say, I am a fan of college football and I pull for my instate rival when we are not playing each other. I have a degree from UGA, but I have never hated the Institute. We both represent the “State of Georgia”. I respect that. Now grab that ACC title Jackets, make this Dawg proud.
