Georgia Tech vs. Virginia
I’m about 20 minutes outside of Charlottesville, riding with former esteemed colleague Dave Fairbank of the Newport News Daily Press.
We’ve passed the time talking about Chairman Groh, the fun of Paul Johnson, etc.
When I get to the press box, I’ll start posting some notes.

Downtown Nashville used to be a great place to visit. You could find all kinds of music back fifteen years ago. I have no idea now. And don’t take no krap about Grant field. Vandy’s stadium is smaller and if enough Jackets go maybe they will make it to 3/4s.

CUZ I lived in Nashville back in 93-95 and MUSIC was everywhere. The city has really built around 5th Street all the way to the River and on the ohterside too. The Titans Stadium really added to the growth downtown. I lived out in Belmont area.

Alright guys. Pretty funny moment in the interview room after the game. CPJ is talking about how everyone has doubted them, and then looks at ESPN’s Heather Dinich, who I believe picked UVA to win, and said “Right, Heather?”

Georgia Techs D graded out a 15 today in their second best showing all year. The best is 14 points versus UNC. Great job D.

Just confirmed my motel reservation for right across the entrance of the Helen, Georgia Octoberfest Beerhall on October 31st. Going to watch the Bulldogs get waxed by Florida with many pitchers…just like I did last year! College football is great.

For Tech fan Colin Peek now the TE from TECH was hurt and couldn’t go for BAMA today. Colin has dome very good things for BAMA this year and it was best for him to go to BAMA. C. Peek has like 3-4 TD. this year and he wouldn’t have that a TECH.

Great performance by Tech today — and, excellent coaching. Georgia had a great day as well….THE DID NOT PLAY!! If I were Richt, I would not be looking forward to the Tech game. The Jackets are going to continue to climb — as the Dawgs continue to fall!

ABC & ESPN say INGRAM is the best running back after taking a HIT. They just don’t love GT. I will put Allen and Dwyer against Bama’s Ingram everytime.
Kick to Clemson and with 56 or so seconds left Spiller scores a TD and Clemson is now UP 14-10 at the half. Debo and Clemson are thinking they can SQUEEZE the Charmin MR. WHIPPLE.

I agree with Booger.. how terrible are the Raycom broadcasts? How about a down and yards to go indicator on the score graphic? Does that cost extra cash to add? I also liked how it would be 3rd or 4th and short and decision time, and they’d be zoomed in on some random players head talking about his GPA or what his dad does for work… terrible.
