Georgia Tech vs. Virginia
I’m about 20 minutes outside of Charlottesville, riding with former esteemed colleague Dave Fairbank of the Newport News Daily Press.
We’ve passed the time talking about Chairman Groh, the fun of Paul Johnson, etc.
When I get to the press box, I’ll start posting some notes.

42:43 min possession; 447 total yards; All despite the weather and on the road. Tech will do nothing but get better. The defense continues to impress. We have three 200+ lb players running down hill in Dwyer, Nesbit and Allen. All hail Coach Johnson. Love his interview at the end – “we still have some things to work on”.

Before today, Vandy has given up 1164 yards rushing, second worse in the SEC. Auburn in the worse. They cannot score. Tech will roll Vandy with the run. You heard it from the Mutt first.

Watching Dwyer and Allen run over people week after week is amazing. Seems like GT has had some very talented backs and thought we wouldn’t see anyone better than Tashard Choice but this current group is top of the heap. Do not want to leave out Roddy or Nesbitt either. Sorry Herschel, but damn these guys got you beat and they are only juniors.

Actually it wasn’t backhand at all Joe. The Jackets look real good this year and I suspect in the years to come. It just kills me that on a Jacket blog, most of the Jacket fans (which I am one) seem to focus on UGA and not the Jackets. Don’t assume you know anything about me over a blog. Anyway again Congrats to the Jacket and their fans (the classy ones).
