Hey Super Dawg, the only reason you don’t like our hot dawgs is because we don’t offer you Dawg fans 4 cases of Natural Light. And our game is a 6 PM during prime time vs. that 12 noon game when UT spanked you. I didn’t think UT fans could sign Rocky Top that often but the Puppy Dawgs helped bring that song out often! Good news, you don’t need to bring any game to Vandy!

First, I’m not a dreamer. GT has it’s work cut out against VT and a number of continued tough games with VA, Wake and the puppy dawgs.

A lot of work yet to do. You may not want to worry about what we discuss next week because your so called fans have some delusion that Richt is on the verge of deserving to be fired and your lunatic nation somehow thinks UGA should win a Nat’l Champtionship every year. Your approaching 30 years since GT helped give UGA it’s ONLY one after we tied Notre Dame at Grant Field.

superDawg, your comment above has some merit. Jackets fans, instead of
crowing and crooning over that tremendous two-in-a-row over FSU, we’ve got to settle down. Reality is about to hit, this Saturday. Virginia Tech is at least twice the team Florida State is. Tyrod, Beamer Ball, and strong D. Maybe the ground will open and swallow them up.

I watched the game again last night on Sun Network, with FSU announcers, and they said over and over about how CPJ always wins the close games. They were impressed….not with Tech’s defense, but they were impressed. How about Nesbitt taking the ball back after the fumble, one of the more amazing plays I have ever seen, given the circumstances.

I don’t know what you do about it, but the fact is our offense was just too good Saturday night. We could have scored 75 pts. If we grind it out and run clock, our defense gets to stay rested. Same thing happened in 98 when Joe Hamilton led us to quick scores. During the second half of the FSU game, we were more conservative and just grinded it out from tackle to tackle and ran the clock. FSU still couldn’t stop us, but we were able to keep our defense off the field. This is a good problem to have. I am simply amazed at how Paul Johnson was able to do this since everyone had figured out how to stop his offense. Yeah right !!! LOL. Paul Johnson is one of the best coaches in the Nation and the Jackets will continue to get better and better every year. It’s great to be a Yellow Jacket.
