Trap game?

OK, Georgia Tech has a non-conference road game this week against a team it destroyed last year. And it’s at night, which few like.
Next week, a huge ACC road game, again at night.
The week after that, an even bigger ACC home game, which I would guess will also be at night.
It would be easy to say that this week’s venture to Starkville to take on Mississippi State is what is often called a “trap” game.
[that was sarcasm]
Tech coach Paul Johnson said this game isn’t dangerous because of what’s coming with FSU, followed by Virginia Tech.
It’s dangerous because the Bulldogs are a good team, so sayeth the coach.
LSU defeated MSU, but the Bulldogs held them to 30 yards rushing, and 263 yards overall.
—————–
Scott Blair said last week was a just a bad week, and he’s going to be better. Johnson said he wants him to stop thinking, and start kicking. More on that in the story in the print ajc.
———–
Sean Bedford, honored by the ACC this week as co-offensive lineman, said that even though they rushed for more than 300 yards against North Carolina, they still have lots of room to improve. He said stopping penetration by the defensive line is a place to start.

Attention everyone: I realize MSU has been down for a long time, and I know it will take time for us to regain respect. However, I, and I believe I speak for all MSU fans when I say WE AREN’T THE WORST TEAM IN THE SEC!!!! Even in Vandy’s best season in decades, the Dawgs were able to beat them. Please don’t take a chance on hurting the Vandy fan’s (yes I know that’s singular) feelings. He has taken pride in his position at the bottom of the SEC for years. Don’t take that away from him.

MSU isn’t the worst team in the SEC. One measure is whether a team performs up to expectations.

Hey ARE YOU THAT STUPID – by your own definition, then, Ga. Tech is the ranking “bitch slapper” on two points (the Seminoles and the Dawgs, since you probably couldn’t figure that out).

doug – regarding Hall’s surgery, often corrective surgery is delayed so the tissues and structures have time to partially heal.

Oh, and ARE YOU THAT STUPID, on your earlier comment that “hopefully the Dawgs will jell in the next 8 weeks”, that is exactly what happens when something rots, so maybe you will get your wish.
