Relax folks. We lost to a very talented Miami team that had 10 days rest, had only played 1 game and was focused to not lose to us for the 5th straight year. Miami is so much better than last years team with Harris as QB and without Patrick Nix as their OC. Miami is going to shred a lot of teams this year. Any reasonable fan probably had the Miami game circled as an L.
With the extra time off and playing at home this week we should bounce back and get back to the business of winning. CPJ is never going to lose confidence, so we shouldn’t either.

GetReal, Gotta believe CPJ and Wommack know their team better than you or I and calling them out is how they see best to motivate them. Time will tell if it works.

Expect CPJ to coach em up and would not be surprised to see Tech handle UNC. Not impressed by what I’ve seen of the Heels.
Agree with the leadership issue.I think it plagued UGA last year. (Seeing different results w/ leadership of Curren and Cox) and always seems to be the difference in a game or two that makes a good year a great year.
Expect the Jackets to stay relevent in ACC.

Those who contend that UNC is mediocre are possibly guilty of “whistling in the dark”. UNC arguably (based on the quality of their players and their performance to this point) has as good a defense as any team in the country. Their offense is well balanced, with lots of raw talent at the skill positions. TJ Yates will not hurt his team. I sense that some fans are afraid that UNC is going to build a football program to be feared, just like their basketball team. UNC has a powerful appeal to both students and student athletes.Enter your comments here

if the GT Starters aren’t getting it done, bring in some players who have the desire and drive to WIN !
take players off the redshirt list and pull them in………….what about that kid Godhigh ? I hear good things about his blocking and running – WE HAVE TO CAHNGE THE GAME PLAN !

I could not believe what I read in the paper today, how sad for Tech. The Tech coaches, who are paid excessive amounts based on their performance, are trying to shift the blame for the loss to the players.
Johnson said that they played about as poorly as he can remember a team playing. Wommack said that the defense was the worst looking and most embarrassing he’s been around in 10 to 12 years, maybe ever. I think its fair to say that Both Johnson and Wommack did the worst job of coaching that has been seen in the state of Georgia in 10 to 12 years. Even Gailey shouldered the blame when all hell was breaking loose. This class less coaching staff is not up to the demands of top tier Div. One teams. I predict that this is the beginning of the end for them. There will be infighting, the team will lose confidence in them and recruits will be steered away from GA. Tech. by their parents. They have shown themselves to be much less then what they seemed. I feel very badly for those young men. Their season will be long and arduous.

Yeah, I’m back. Been out on the road, but now back in touch. Ramble will be happy!

Anyway, this is not last years team. This is clear. Gailey’s recruits are almost gone, at least the lineman and receivers, so we’ll see the “Boss’s” true talents. We are young no doubt, but so is everyone else we’ve played. Think Miami will be better next year?

Let’s don’t panic, the Chicken bowl will still invite us this year.
