Well, the first half of the first two-a-day is done. The players will be back out in four hours or so.
Coach Johnson said overall he wasn’t pleased with the team’s effort. He was pleased with how Scott Blair kicked the ball at the end of the day, though. Blair went 4-for-4 from various spots on the field.
Because of injuries to Jaybo Shaw and Jordan Luallen, Josh Nesbitt, Tevin Washington and David Sims took most of the snaps. The defensive line looked very active in the 11-on-11 portion.
To answer a question from yesterday, I think the offense looks better from the first day. The coaches have indicated the same.
I’m going to keep this one short, and will come back with more after the second portion.

GreenJacket,
Now don’t go bringing lot’s of numbers into the mix, it just confuses the puppies. I must give credit where it is due though….the puppies do know the difference between number 1 and number 2. Number 1 is where they started the year last season, and when all was said and done, their team was reduced to a pile of number 2 by season’s end.

DawgsRule,
You got me Captain Punctuation. Nothing gets past you, huh? I especially like the use of “dont” and “Your” in your well written 2 sentences that were correcting me. My poor uneducated self would have used “don’t” and “You’re”, so I am glad I saw your email before I made a fool of myself… Thanks Captain!

Only stats that matter
Tech – 4 Nat’l Championships, most recent in 1990 (around when most of you idiots were born)
uga – 1 lonely national championship in 1980. must be a pretty pathetic looking trophy case.

Doug thanks for the updates. Glad to see Tevin Washington is getting some reps. I like his arm, which we observed several times Saturday. How’s Jaybo btw?

Guys, this poser who stole my name has been stalking me on the UGA blog. I am in Minnesota at the Mayo Clinic for my daughter. She has a debilitating, sometimes life threatening syndrome. Google KT foundation. This sadist does not care. He is doing this so you will come on the Dawg blogs. I doubt he has a team. I say fire away. Fire at anybody named Cuz. Me included. If I am hit, so be it. Take the b@stard out. Even though I am a UGA grad, GO JACKETS! Well until Thanksgiving weekend.
