If you haven’t seen this video…

The video was shot on Monday.

Dave Cohen, the voice of the Panthers, was going to be the face until Curry stepped in.

Curry, who will turn 70 years old later this year, wasn’t familiar with the song first made famous by Corey Hart, but pulled it off in one take.

Georgia State is going to give away the same sunglasses to the first 3,000 fans 18 years of age and older who come to the Georgia Dome for Saturday’s 6 p.m. game against Texas-San Antonio.

Reaction has been positive, according to Allison George, sports information director for GSU.

Well, it’s odd, for sure.

But it does get me a little bit more excited about the game.

I can’t believe CBC agreed to this. Amusing…. Ha.

[...] Panthers won’t have a lot of opportunities to win a game, but this could be one. Curry seems to be trying anything to swing the mojo, even donning electric sunglasses for a GSU mark…Actually, that would be a cool halftime show if the Panthers are looking for an attendance bump. [...]
