Video: GSU Muasau brothers perform the Samoan “Haka” dance

AJC photographer Jason Getz put together this video of Jake and Louie Muasau leading the Georgia State football team through the “Haka” dance before the game against Old Dominion.

It’s a short video, but it’s cool to see it up close.

Here are some other versions:

Doug, I’m not going to address the last comment by the GSoU fan. But I think this is the kind of person that needs to be blocked since it has nothing to do with the story.

We have done it for every home game. Hopefully Louie gets a Medical RS and the Haka will remain in 2012.

6-3 record at home all time. I can dig it.

Hopefully we will still be over .500 at home for our entire time by the end of the season. I’m not sure at this point.

The dance would look better if we beat some FCS or FBS teams this year, but if it gets us a win against Murray State I am all for it, but I want to see Coach Curry do it with that much intensity. That would be hilarious to see.

That is the worst excuse for a haka I have ever seen. It should either be done well or not done at all.

I guess you guys will win the “Haka State Championship”. But we know where the best FCS football is in Georgia, and it ain’t Atlanta.
