We’d better bring it for the homecoming game.

Thanks Doug!

Old Dominion will be on TV per CAA Football’s contract. Also, South Alabama could be on TV (it’s actually a 3:30pm start).

**For those who wanted a night game or two, keep in mind that Presidents around the country are trying to limit or eliminate night games because of issues with alcohol.

Nice to see some variety in start times although they are still keeping it close to those 1pm start times. The dome is gonna have fun with that first game

Go Panthers !
I’d love to be able to make the home opener. It should be a beat down. Really curious to see how GSU holds up against the Colonial Conference (which has been dominating in the Div II Football playoffs for years now).

I can wait until the opening game each season is GSU vs. GSU at the Dome in front of a pack house. It would be great for both universities to let their players play in front of an environment like that. For one day they would take the lime-light from the Dawgs and Jackets and for one day, the Panthers and Eagles would be the #1 story in all the state of Georgia. The Pathers vs. the Eagles 2015. Get it done AD’s ! Let the good times roll baby !

check you divisions

Georgia Southern and Georgia State do not play D2 football the are both D1 FCS schools. The difference is exactly 28 scholarships.

Who the heck is St. Francis? And what’s with all the day games? Guess that’s what D2 football gets.

WTF? Extremely cocky for a second year start-up. The blue panthers (aka concrete college) will be the recipients of the opening day beat down.

Extremely cocky? No we just schedule an opener that we know we are going to win and big. See Shorter in 2010. See Clark Atlanta this year.

As far as the day games, go check the schedule for UGA and Tech this season thus far. How many Saturday night games are they playing?

As of right now, one game between both school. Most games will be Noon or 3:30.

Like I said above, more and more Presidents do not want to deal with the all day alcohol use amongst students. While it may lower some buzz, only TV will dictate night games for all of the Big 3 schools.

Concrete College! Obvious GS troll. Get it correct. Georgia State University, the second largest University in the State, which buys skyscrapers on a regular basis, is heads above the Georgia Southern (GS) University of General Studies. Yea, let me get my Masters Degree in Farming from that University in Statesboro! We are in the ATL which is the Capital of our great State and the AJC recognizes this fact. We play in the DOME not a low spot in a South Georgia swamp. Get over it! Go play your same ole Southern Conference foes year after year as we are going to pass you like a lightning bolt! GO PANTHERS!!!

Don’t forget Georgia Southern’s average freshman SAT is higher than Ga State per Ken Seguira. Just thought I would remind you when you start confusing Ga State with Harvard as many of you seem to do.

I wasn’t trolling- I was being serious. If we are gonna be a D2 powerhouse, we should schedule more night games. UGA and GT can get away with it because they are more likely to be on TV. Also, if UGA and GT are playing so many day games, wouldn’t that take away from the fans at our games?

Also GSUAlumBaseball81- didn’t we just lose out on our bid to buy the Equitable skyscraper in Atlanta?

GSU4LIFE, St. Francis is a respectable program. Remember we had to shedule wht we can the first two seasons until we play conference Football. The same thing was said about Lambuth. Respect everyone fear none.

Observation on day games…….As a father of two I love taking my children and that means day games. More children at games means a more civil crowd ,because dads won’t like it get unruly. That is one of the many reasons I also love college baseball. Go Panther and Blazers.
