i’d say so. touchdown for gsu. i see 1) little throwing with accuracy and to largely open receivers; 2) ballcarriers breaking tackles.

interesting morehead state came out running twice in a row (once with success). we’ll see if they keep trying it.

Zach Lewis does not look like a 300 yards per game passer so far.

How does the crowd look? Wish I was there. Listening to the game on 1160 am and checking the thread.

fyi: kelton hill had been playing the third series of each half, so jackson was taking his place. he was under pressure, but not a great decision with the ball. my guess is we’ll see him third series of second half.

i’m guessing on the crowd here. the student section is about half full i’d say. fairly thin on the morehead state side. i can’t see the home stands but assume it’s fairly full.

big play by nate anthony. recovered fumble leads to score. from 17-3 and morehead state having momentum to 23-3 and game possibly over.

if you’re at home, you’re missing the gsu marching band using halftime to introduce its medley of cheers to alumni and fans.

morehead state has run the ball 15 times and thrown it 14. eagles are usually a lot more pass-heavy. apparently, they think they can exploit gsu’s relatively weak run defense. hasn’t worked so far, which probably has something to do with morehead state’s run offense not being so hot in the first place.

gsu winning time of possession, 16:51-:13:05 (not sure what happened to the last four seconds). but anyway, a good sign for gsu. panthers have been getting crushed in that category because defense hasn’t been able to get off field.

Man. This is awesome. If we can play like this constantly we can be a really decent team

Great game. MS was definitely outmatched — but then so were a few previous opponents and we know how that went. Even if they keep playing like this I don’t think we’ll hit the 30K + of the first game any time soon. But the folks that were there seemed to be having a fine time, me included!

Little is looking real sharp. Jackson may have to wait for another big lead to get in the game!
Maybe Savanah st let’s us get off to a quick start.
